Favorite Place to Hang Out

Post by Vesna »

Personally, I enjoy watching the sun set on the ocean off of the Gold Coast. I also enjoy getting lost in the Great Forest or going for a nice swim in Lake Rumere with the really friendly slaughterfish. I love walking up and down beaches blasting mudcrabs into Oblivion (metamorphically) with my Enemies Explode spell and sitting on top of chapels. I feel like going to Dive Rock every now and then to just jump off the cliff and soar like a bird...splat....

I enjoy climbing to the top of White Gold tower using paintbrushes as much as falling into the lava of Oblivion. I like walking through the cursed halls of the ancient ayleid cities and getting repeatedly killed by their clever traps. I enjoy cities because they provide never-ending entertainment of punching a guard in the face and trying to get away. I hang out at the Skooma Den in Bravil because everyone is so friendly to me. They even give me this strange drink in little bottles. Why do you have 2 heads?

I love small villages and temples, especially Cloud Ruler Temple because you can push guards off of the battlements. I like Harcane Grove because I want to watch the minotaurs pummel my followers to death while I run away. I go to the Jerall Mountains because it is fun freezing my butt off in the cold, and the snow is pretty. I am a regular visitor of the West Weald because I often want to get drunk on the local wine.

What is your favorite place?

I think you've got nearly everywhere as your favourite place!

Pell's Gate, they always make me feel welcome.

Vindasel, I like to pop in to have afternoon tea with Umbra every now and then.

Any of the views from up in the foot hills in the general area between Bruma and Chorrol, where you can look down and over Lake Rumare and IC.

The view from Skingrad Castle bridge.

I like most places. There's at least one thing I like about each. I guess I'm just terminally positive! :D

Can't argue with that. The one place that I don't like is anywhere that an Ob gate springs up. I hate it when it turns all red-sky.

Anyone else wants to share?

I know of a lot of charming places, such as the Sigillum Sanguis (however you actually spell that) where they use flesh as the floor. I wonder how they keep it from going bad. Do they not have E. coli in Oblivion?

How do you know that that flesh isn't still alive and keeping itself healthy?....

Eeeew... I've heard of creatures with external organs, but this is moving it to the extreme. How come it doesn't have any skin on it? Or why does the creature tolerates people who step all over it?

I still think it is the lack of bacteria in Oblivion. They probably can't stand the stench of the meat.

I love spending my evenings in the different City castles around Cyrodiil, drinking tea and chit-chat with the royalty. At night I usually stay home in one of my houses (depending on which city castle I just paid a visit to), wishing I had a TV so I could watch "Happy Days".

Occationly I dare taking a walk in the forrest, to watch the deer (from a safe distance, offcourse), but since it is more likely to meet a wolf or, god forbid, a bear, i usually stay inside the city walls.

I also like hanging out in the local tavern, listening to the adventurers stories about distant lands, foreign wars, and most of all, the stories about those fierce mudcrabs. I have never seen one myself, so I don't even know what they look like, but from what they tell, they must be really big and fearsome.

Well, thats what my days are mostly about.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Did you ever hear about the Hero of Kvatch? They say she actually went into an Oblivion gate and found a new way to preserve meat. (By keeping it alive)

I like stepping inside a warm inn when there's a thunderstorm outside, and drying out my wet cloak by the fire. On sunny days, I love to wander through the woods North of Chorrol. There are some gorgeous areas full of birch trees and deer and water falling down rocks.

Does it bother anybody else that you can keep a hunk of mutton in a wooden box for a year and not get sick when you eat it?

The Arena, nothing like the sounds and smells of battle.

Making a few coins is nice too.

I like anywhere there is a fight.

Does it bother you I can drink 200+beer bottles a second?

I like to go shopping in the Imperial city to furnish my tiny IC shack. I also enjoy stealing.

"Where did you get those shoes? I have a pair exactly like them!"
"I'm a kleptomaniac, I stole it from you."
"Oh, that's great......Wait a minute, wha......Hey where are you going? STOP THIEF!!!"

It bothers me that you can drink any beer bottles!!

If you're talking about 200+ bottles of beer/sec, how do you get past the 4 potions rule?! (And you obviously haven't met some of my family!!!)

Okay, I lied about that one. But isn't it freaky how anyone can ingest 1000 pounds worth of food? Won't I get a heart attack?

Oh, and for the record, I like waking people up in the middle of the night and watch them go back to sleep even when I'm aming at them with my Super Special Awesome bow.

Oh, and I forgot about the Shivering Isles.

Don't you love the Execution Point?

I love the view from there, and its cool to watch how the big thing underneath me gets bigger and bigger. I wonder if I can be friends with it? Hello, big strange thing!

.....splat.....

I got sent there for trying to grow a beard.

And I'm a girl....I guess it is the place of madness. Or is my character a transvestide?
