Ah Robot, just 'cause you have a certain outlook on life, doesn't mean that everyone else has to have the same outlook.
Also the majority of teenagers these days have jobs. Albeit not full time, but enough to cause stress, when coupled with school, family, and a social life, and that's not to mention the piles of other crap that some of us have going in in our lives. People like you think that we have it so easy, that we get what we want and don't care about anyone else... well we don't! I myself, have work every other day, an ever increasing pile of paper work, a mountain of school work, and to top it off, my family is dissolving around me... and from what I've seen, this is the same with most of my mates, and other people I know.

So lay off it will ya'? We have enough problems, and don't need people saying that we have it easy.
God. Why am I fighting other peoples battles? Just kill me now.

It disgusts me when I see people in western society being so spoiled. We have it just fine. Try living in a third world country, or in a war scenario. Be thankful you are able to get a job, be thankful that you get more than $2 an hour, be thankful that you have food to survive, be thankful for the roof over your head, be thankful for the internet and the videogames. We have it good. And I have it good.

Be thankful you have the opportunity to get an education.
Be thankful you have a family.
Be thankful you have a social life.

Stop making these things sound like negative things. Be thankful you are doing paperwork, as opposed to extensive labor.

Teenagers glorify hardship and depression, it makes me [&@%!] sick. Be [&@%!] thankful for what you have.

Get some [&@%!] perspective.

People's feeling have surprisingly little to do with their sutuation. This is fairly well established. If you have a look at this wiki page, showing the suicide rates of various countries (accuracy is disputed), you'll see that depression, for example, has very little to do with whether or not the country is rich. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... icide_rate. I could guess what factors would be more significant, but it would only be a guess.
