Hey good to see you back! Haven't seeN you on for awhile!
On topic: I think Todd will have been using a heavily buffed character, and also there was a lot of editing in the videos, those fights could have gone on for ages.

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
As River already mentioned, there were several cuts in the video, so I would expect a dragon fight to last more than just a few seconds. They can't make it too difficult, though, as Todd has mentioned that dragons might even attack you in a group every now and then.
Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
Although I agree with you, I must ask you to stop calling him that. His name is God Howard, everybody on the forums knows that by now.

Yes, me neither and that's one thing i hated in oblivion, i want the feeling Red dead redemption gives me when i am attacked by a Bear multiplied for 1000 in fun and in danger, because if it turns easy all the efford the deevelopers gives programing the dragons behavior will be lost, you just will not feel expectation if you know you can deal with them in a easy way.Cemiboy_FB wrote:I don't remember my health dropping below 50 % while level 32 in oblivion (his level was 32, u can see it when hes fighting the draughr)
But again, i hope all of you are rifght and howard was playing with a kind of example "God character".
Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
We didn't see the entire battle -.-
And who cares? If these things are going to pop up everywhere, you don't want every single one to be a use-last-potion battle

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
Did you actually notice the fact that Todd's character had 999 health?
And 500 something magicka??
He is playing with a super duper powerful character.
I honestly think this idea is funny, what they did.
Cause when the game releases people will be all like "Where are those wimpy dragons at?!"
Then when they find one, they will just charge at it. And die, very very fast.

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
I want them to last awhile, just not too long. As in, I don't want it to last as long as it does when you're attacking the all the guards in the Imperial City for stealing an apple, but I don't want it to go as quickly as my level 22 barbarian with a two-handed battle-ax attacking a wolf.
As in, make it like an in real life fist fight, kinda. Last about five to thirty minutes, not an hour.
Because I don't know about you, but I want some potato chips left after fighting my first dragon. :P

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
With a bit of luck you'll be able to avoid dragons if you really want to, though it might result in mass destruction of a town or city if you're not just being attacked out in the wilderness. A bit of cunning and hiding in a bush will hopefully thwart them if you're determined not to fight another dragon just yet.

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
Well, several guards with arrows and bows.. Archery does MUCH more damage than in Oblivion. I bet they helped quite a lot.
Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
He might have had the difficulty at easy, which means that dragons will be very hard to kill at the highest difficulty. *SHUDDERS*

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
I don't think that the Dragons will be too easy. As many of you others I'd like encounters with dragon to last for a while, but not so hard that you have to use every single potion you've got. I do not hope that the Dragons will be too boring either, I mean... I DO NOT HOPE that they will be like the new Oblivion gates... after you've closed the first 7 Oblivion gates - they become very boring IMHO and takes too much time to close.
EDIT: Huge mistake in my message fix'd

Re: DRAGONS!...too easy?
Well we were told there would be different kinds of dragons and some may attack you in groups when you are doing god knows what so i don't think they will get boring soon.the Savage Hippie wrote: I mean... they are kinda like the new Oblivion gates... after you've closed the first 7 Oblivion gates - they become very boring IMHO and takes too much time to close.

On my other account it'll matter. Also, my fisherman is naked, remember. He could die of Hypothermia.Gandalf wrote:Why would it matter to you anyway? You're a minimum danger fisherman...

No Gandalf. It is not me, but the ring. Anyway, I hope I can lead an army of dragons to the biggest city and have a large war. Or have a race down the mountains while being pursued by loads of dragons.Gandalf wrote:From the river, not the dragons. And stop leading me offtopic, dammit!
