Ahhhh! I see, my apologies then for interpreting that wrong.

On-topic: I am rather looking forward to the England part of the game, not many are set here unfortunately... not since games like The Getaway. Jeez Louise that brings back some memories. But anyway, I hope the places are actually different, with different weapons relating to the place etc. or that would be a tad weak in my opinion.
I agree! It's weird that as an American playing this game, I am actually more interested in the British side. I guess it's because they've made the American side too stereotypically Hollywood. :/

Still, a part of me wants to play the Russians doing the invading. I wanna play the bad guy for once!

I have a question: Where in the hell did Russia get enough $$$ to support an invasion of FOUR countries (USA, UK, Germany and France)???

No I will not get this game. I have never bought a CoD game. The only reason I'm posting this is because I never miss a chance to voice my dislike for this franchise. You have probably guessed already but I absolutely despise CoD from 2 onwards. Two games is fine. They've got fun multiplayer. But why the bloody hell is it necessary to make another game that's almost identical to the previous one in terms of gameplay every bloody year? Money, I know...don't even get me started on that.

So we've 3 sniper rifles confirmed: The Barrett .50 cal,the RSASS and would you believe it,the PSG1! Now there has to be a bolt-action,else it wouldn't be just right. Which bolt-action would you like to see? Intervention,L96A1,M40A3 or a brand new bolt-action? Wouldn't it be great if there were 2 bolt-actions...

I'm sick of the COD games, the MOH games, and the Battlefront games. They're almost always about WWII.

YES! We get it. WWII was a big, horrific event that shaped the fate of the world forever thanks to a nasty few dudes from Germany, Italy, and Japan. Can we move on to other wars?

They're like the History Channel of videogames. WWII this and WWII that. WWII everywhere.

Lol why do we bring up WWII in a "Modern Warfare" discussion.. Obviously Kavatach, the only recent game you have played COD wise is World at War, and the New MOH is not WWII, but it is horrible.. Battlefield hasn't made a WWII game in a minute either.. Brothers in Arms is a pretty cool game, sure, it may be WWII, but I like the gameplay on them all..

WWII games are good either way, it shows the nations history..

I am excited for MW3, hopefully the expansion packs will include.. Skidrow, Crossfire, Bloc, Highrise, Invansion, and Bailout for multiplayer ;) Either way, its made by Infinity Ward so it will be good..

The Multiplayer isn't by Infinity Ward, though. I believe it's Sledgehammer and Raven who is developing the multiplayer part.

got this nice little clip on Black Ops. I like the game, it's very fun, but strangely MW2 just...feels more fun to play. I prefer the guns, I s'pose.

edit: the quality is poop and the shot looks very off but I love it.

They need a zombie game set in the Highlands of Scotland! The scenery is amazing, the forests will be scary to walk through at night, villages and towns will be scarce and it would just be amazing to drive around the roads up there.

On-Topic: MW3 looks interesting. I'm happy that Price and Soap are in it. As long as it has a good single-player then I'm fine. My friends are too competitive - even though my stats show that I'm the best. I mean seriously, one of my mates played it from 5pm till 2am, on a school night!

You guys have to understand, half the people who play COD don't really care for it, my brother in case is a competitive person, and besides Oblivion, COD is the only other games he has played, and its not because he likes it really, its because one of his friends actually enjoys the game and so then all his friends buy it and let me tell you, the conversations they have.

My accuracy is this, my KDR is this, I have so-and-so amount of nukes, etc., for most kids its another sport, which is retarded because if I wanted to compete Id play football or basketball.

The games are fun and were one of a kind, until the rip-offs kicked in, keep in mind before most video games involving guns were un-realistic and over-the-top, then COD 1 came along.

Modern Warfare was a great game and changed multiplayer for a long time and then the competitiveness kicked in and every "pro" thinks they're good at the game using a combo of grenade launchers and youtube videos, every player is afraid to capture a base in Domination because they know half-way across the map is 3+ "mortars" just waiting to here the voice say "B IS BEING CAPTURED".

My brother gets a kdr of 29 to 4 everytime with a nuke and [&@%!] me off because he only fires off 2 clips of ammo, and the rest is all grenades/claymores.

I play Black-OPs because they have improved those problems and I can understand the hate for it because of MW, but for those who hate Black OPs yet love MW2 stop getting upset because "easy-kills" and the equivalent to a touch-down (Tact Nuke) are now longer implemented in the game, for those of you that get over-competitive please just pick up a sport instead, its more normal and natural than getting up-in-arms about you kill-ratios,etc.

Star wars battlefront 3, that would get me interested in first person shooters. Cod is just the same game released every year and people think
their a hard core gamer for buying the same game every one else buys. I miss the good old day, nintendo had the gamecube and all was well in the world.
The sad truth is, kids today will never know why pikachu is never inside a pokeball.

Oh absolutly. a Battlefront Three would really get me back to FPS.

But this yearly call-of-duty-athon? Its an annoyingly long lived fad. :?

I agree completely. MW2->Hop into the match, camp 7 kills, camp further while your Harrier gets you your 11th kill,Chopper Gunner your way to 25 kills and get a Tac-Nuke. What ever were they thinking? The game sucked. Black Ops was a gigantic improvement but didn't quite cut it entirely for me.

If they do that, then they can actually put focus on making an aspect of their game unique and innovative again.

What MW1 did right was what set the standard that has been followed for title after title. I think people are finally getting sick of this, I hope so. CoD in general needs to evolve or revolve so it has staying power like MW did; not the stale bread that Cod has become. IMO of course, I know some still enjoy it, power to them, but even I played MW1 and loved it cause of what it did cause it was a nice new take...The formula needs to be changed though. Make another CoD that did to the series what MW1 did, but better.

All games are over-rated. The only difference is that MW3 is massively over-rated. Many people are going to get to 15th Prestige in this game which will take about 12 days(24 hours) of gameplay. It will keep them occupied for months. Many more still will clock up 1000 hours of gameplay. For some,it's a serious bargain. I'll be getting BF3 miles ahead of it though.
