Then, three years later, the G-20 series was released. This meant that for double the price of a G-10 (they were still in production), you could have a laser autorifle on the arm rather than a standard machine gun, stronger armor, more sophisticated programming (which includes combat training), and superior speed. The G-20 soon found its way into the homes of millions of people around the world. Most were given commercial guard and home servant positions.
Suddenly, news of a shocking murder found its way across the world. It was not of William Ivanovich or any of his fellow scientists that made the robots. In fact, John Howard, 48 years old and resident of Great Britain, was killed. However, it was not who was murdered that was shocking. The shocking part was the murderer. John had bought a G-20 droid, yet surprisingly, the G-20 was not able to repel the murderer. Why? The autopsy found small burn marks on John. They looked identical to those found on a person killed by a G-20's laser rifle, which could only mean one thing: John's own G-20 had killed him.
A week later, a similar murder popped up, but this time it was of Li Chang, 72, resident of China. Soon, murders popped up all over the world that were by robots. The IRPMC put a recall of all robots (G-10s and G-20s) into effect. All robots eventually found their way back into IRPMC hands in about two weeks. Not too much later, the IRPMC started releasing robot armies to invade the US. Why did these robots rebel? People started to think if the IRPMC had planned this all along, and in thinking such, they would be right.
Meanwhile, the people who had not owned robots formed a secret society so that they could create an army to fight the robots. They were able to amass an army to fight the mechanical invasion. Now, 35 years after the robots were first being worked on, these rebels, who are named Carpe Terra, have decided to finally attack the robots.

Character Sheet:
Name:
Gender:
Age:
Physical Appearance:
Specialty: (Your character class: sniper, front-line soldier, infiltrator, heavy weapons, etc.)
Equipment: (Within reason. You should have weapons that fit your character's class. If you try to be an infiltrator with an RPG, then you're not getting in. Other than that, you can have literally any modern or sci-fi weapon, within reason, that you want. You will need a main weapon, a side arm, and a melee weapon.)
Personality:

How it will work:
Outside of combat, I will post the situation. You can discuss what you want to do with the other players, and post your final decision in red. After there's an agreement, and your choice is reasonable (if you're outside the enemy's heavily fortified HQ, you're not going to charge the front door, for example), then I'll post the outcome. You can always search the area and hopefully locate supplies like healing kits, upgrade kits, more weapons, and other stuff like that.
Battles will be set up like this:
When in combat, you can attack once between each of my posts with whatever armaments you're carrying with you at the time. If you post multiple attacks, I will use the most recent one you posted. Once everyone has given an attack, I will post a description of the combat round and the updated combat template shown above. If you don't post an attack, but at least three other people do for the same round, then I'll use the same attack you posted last time. The combat template wrote: __________________

Thread rules:
1. Text colors:
- Red text should be used for your choices and attacks.
- Green text is only used by me for official GM-related matters, like whether a character is accepted or not.
- Blue text should denote out-of-character talk. I hate having to click spoilers every five seconds just to read conversations. I don't like entirely OOC posts, either.
3. Standard RP rules apply.
4. I don't like reading excessively long character descriptions. The only section you should need more than two sentences on is your character's appearance, and you can reveal personal history as the RP goes.
5. If you read the rules, then post your application in red.
