Clarence Griffin was elected Leader of the Day.
He leaned close to the old man sitting in front of him.
“Is it just me, or is something wrong here? I haven’t seen, like, one stewardess.”
“Cool it, guy, I’m trying to get some sleep here.” The old man responded.
Jimmy didn’t cool it. Over the next hour not one flight official came out, not one announcement from the pilot since they left New York.
Jimmy stood up. “I’m going to go see if the same things up with first class. If the stewardesses are spendin’ their time just over there, I’ll flip.”
After a few minutes, Jimmy came back. “Nobody’s seen no one come outta that cockpit.”
“Siddown, guy.” The old man said, annoyed.
“I’m tellin’ ya man,” Jimmy leaned in real close to the old man, just to annoy him. “Something’s going wrong here.”
Nobody answered, so Jimmy sat back down, grumbling something.
It was about two hours later. Jimmy had fallen asleep. This time, an elderly lady, one Patricia Clarkson of First Class, stood up nervously. She was dressed in a fluffy pink dress and had a purple purse.
“I think that young hoodlum who came in here a while ago had a point.” She said aloud. “We should go see the pilots. This is the worst service I’ve ever seen!” She said in a frail yet stern voice.
“The lady does have a point,” Said a man who stood up. “I’m going to go check on the pilot.”
“Oh, thank you son.” Said the old lady. The man nodded and smiled. “No sweat, lady.”
The man tried the door to the cockpit. “Locked.” He said. “Huh.”
Five hours later. The passengers were seriously unsettled. They’d tried screaming for service. They’d tried breaking down the pilot’s door, to no avail.
“I told you guys!” Shouted Jimmy Styles. “I told you! It’s like... like…” He couldn’t find the words, but a serious looking man in a suit from First Class finished his thought. “Like we’re prisoners on this plane.”
“I wish I could contact my nephew.” Said Patricia Clarkson. “He’d get us out of this.”
“Oh, shut up for the tenth time.” Said a passenger, annoyed. On closer inspection, it was the same man who agreed to help Patricia five hours ago.
“Doesn’t anyone have a gun, or anything of the sort on this plane?” A woman asked. “What would that do, stupid?” Someone responded.
“We’re never getting out of here.” Exclaimed Jimmy.
“Attention, passengers, attention.” Rang a voice from the loudspeaker. Everyone grew silent. The voice was deeper than a usual one, and had an odd buzzing sound.
“We are not in California, as I’m sure you all know. Instead, welcome to your utter demise. Have a pleasant death, and thank you for choosing Delta Airlines to be the ones to deliver!”
Suddenly: The plane went down. The passengers were tossed around the plane for a few minutes until a large crash. Everything went white from there.
The survivors awoke sorely. The plane had crashed somewhere snowy, but a lot of the metal parts were caved in – therefore many passengers were impaled and killed, among them being Patricia Clarkson and Jimmy Styles.
The survivors looked around.
All they could see were snowy mountains with green and black valleys beneath them, stretching as far as the eye could see… in every direction.
The Roleplay
THE MAIN GOAL of the survivors is to survive. They need to stay strong and find civilization with access to technology (There might be some indigenous peoples in the mountains) so they can be saved. But they will endure hardships that will test their ability to survive, and all along they are running out of food and water...
And every decision you make brings you closer to civilization... or one step closer to death.
Create a character ages 5-105. Remember that this takes place in 1954. They crashed under mysterious circumstances and all they want to do is see their loved ones and family again… but they won’t all be able to do it.
Obstacles will come around as the survivors try to escape, and characters will die. It will be chosen at random at every obstacle they encounter in the strange mountain wastes – who is at jeopardy, that is.
The food on the plane was sufficient for many days of food while rationed, but still not enough for all of the survivors. That’s why each day they vote who has been the weakest link of the group – and they have no choice but to kill that person to conserve food and water.
Anyone can join, but only at the beginning. No one can join after the roleplay starts. The defaults to set you on your way are:
Debby Kent – A 9 year old girl from a higher class New York family. She was going with her maid to see her grandparents.
Barbara Green – A 68 year old lady who was vacationing in New York
Mr. Steven Thomas – A middle-aged Science teacher from middle-class New York
Of course, of your way, make friendships, enemies, romances, lie, cheat, steal, murder, whatever your little stranded heart desires. And remember: Never give up hope. Because if you do you’ll be the weakest link.
Again, remember relationships could make or break you. You’re supposed to vote off the weakest link every day, but I know that’s not gonna happen, you sadistic little people you.

The Rules:
1.) You have no luggage, it was destroyed in the wreck. You have only what you carry in your pockets.
2.) No weapons.
3.) Have good grammar and spelling or else you shall die… and your character will too.
4.) Sometimes during an event, your character will be put in danger. This is chosen randomly and is not related to who you are or what you do in the story.
5.) Your character can be ages 5-105. I wouldn't create someone so old or young, though.
6.) You may create up to 2 characters. Do not expect both of them to survive.
7.) No God RPing. You are all normal people. Even if you’re a sumo wrestler, police offer, etc. , you have nothing on you and no one can go without food, sleep, and water for long.
8.) Please talk in 50’s slang if at all possible.
9.) If you read the rules, say so in your joining post.
10.) Remember, your character will die, well at least most likely. If they are ‘voted out’ or killed in an event, don’t cry.
If this goes well, because I’m not expecting it to go long, I’ll make another in a different time period. Maybe like a second Molag Bal Games.
Remember: There are only two groups of people after the crash: Survivors, who were thrown out of the plane when the sides split open, and the others.
Welcome to your utter demise. Have a pleasant death, and thank you for choosing Delta Airlines to be the ones to deliver!
Hey, I’ll start…
Debby Kent awoke slowly, she was the first to wake. She lifted herself up from thw snow and slowly walked towards the plane to find here caretaker… and found her body. Debby then started to cry loudly. That shrill cry slowly awoke the others.
Barb Green, who had sat next to Patricia Clark on the plane, raised her head dizzily. She was amazed that the fall didn’t kill her. She couldn’t get to her feet, however, but was helped by Steven Thomas. Mr. Thomas was wearing a dark green suit and he had a thin gray comb over, even though he was only middle-aged.
“Here… there we go.” He said as Barb stood up. He looked around and saw everyone else slowly getting up. Luckily, they landed in snow so their fall was cushioned. Unluckily, they were all quite wet. And cold.
Mr. Thomas looked over to the plane, and saw a grim sight: small pools of blood were forming around it’s base.
