The eternal question, if you could choose a single ES item to have in the real world what would it be? I'm sure this has been asked in the game specific boards but I thought it may be an idea to ask it here so all ES games are covered.

When I first played Oblivion I was blown away with how much stuff was available to you - on top of the usual weapons and armour you had clothing, potions, food, ingredients, alchemical equipment, books...the list goes on - and of course most of it could be enchanted to make them even more unique.

My choice would be...let's see...the book Sacred Witness from Oblivion. I like how the books in general look in ES and this story especially is always a good read, it reminds me of something Lovecraftian.

So..what's yours? And why?

theres two options really. One option is usefulness and clearly for that you'd pick something like the ring of Khajiit or the staff of Sheogorath.

On the other side is cool stuff Iconic things such as a glass sword or Daedric armour.

If i picked option one it would be the staff, that would just be too useful not to have. For option 2 i would like a full set of Daedric armour from Morrowind. If i can't have that I'd just have a Glass Claymore :)

I would want some boots that allow you to walk on water, for obvious reasons.

You're forgetting Wraithguard... If you used Keening and Sunder without it, you'd die...
