Bun-Za tore across the space seperating himself from the two grapplers, unable to send a throwing dagger Haestrom's way as the two men shifted constantly. He used his momentum to take Haestrom off of his feet and onto his back, immediately placing the edge of his dagger against the man's neck in preperation to slit his throat. Bun-Za, however, was of a relatively light build, and was unable to properly restrain Haestrom alone.

[Sav]

"Need some help?" Ormis asked, not sure what to do.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

In a quick motion, Haestrom kneed Bun-Za in the gut and rolled away from him. He tried to make a dash towards the stairs.

[Mucro]

Leowyn shot a blast of Telekenis, aimed at Haestrom.

[Leyyuce]

Bun-Za had turned to Ormis as he voiced the simple query; it had given Haestrom the chance to stage his desperate escape attempt. He now knelt on the dungeon's floor, holding his stomach and spitting a bit of vomit onto the ground. Obviously, the blow had done no real damage, besides causing minor nausea.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Haestrom got blasted back on on butt, where Jane sent an arrow flying at him. Before she did, he tipped a nearby table in front of him and was protected.

"Okay, I'm getting tired of this game." Ana growled, and moved towards Haestrom.

"Ah... Aunt Ana. So good to meet you." Haestrom said in his quiet voice, but it was disrupted that time.

Ana moved towards Haestrom, and he answered by jumping on the tipped table and then straight on top of her head. He kicked his boot into her head to propel himself forward.

[Mucro]

Leowyn drew his sword, his best bet was to stay towards the outside of the fight. If Haestrom broke through, he would strike.

[Sav]

Ormis ran as fast as he could. He jumped off the table onto Haestrom, tackling him. Ormis reached for his shortsword, and pulled it out, attempting to stab Haestrom.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

While Haestrom was still leaping through the air, he met the end of Bearn's fist in his stomach. He was tossed back against the wall. Before he could move, Bearn kicked him the the face, hard. At least three teeth fell out. Haestrom moaned softly and reached for his face. Bearn grabbed his wrist and snapped it.

Haestrom tried to get up, and Bearn took out his dagger and stabbed it in Haestrom's leg, followed by Haestrom's screams.

"All right, Bearn." He hissed with pure hatred. "You have me. What are you going to do to me? Kill me? We can be great allies in the downfall of Mora, you and I."

[Sav]

Bun-Za had moved nearer to Haestrom, and he swiftly delivered another blow to the man's head with the side of his boot.

"Don't listen to him, Bearn. Let's end his life and be on our way."

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Jane ushered everyone away from Bearn and Haestrom.

"No deal, terrorist." Bearn spat.

"We can negotiate. I know secrets that can help you. Bearn. Brother."

"This is for my daughter, Delilah, and my wife, Malinda. Rot in hell." Bearn yanked the dagger out of Haestrom leg, and stabbed it right between The Butcher's eyes.

[King Acunasti]

Philippe took a swig from his flask as he looked over the math problem. "That's just a bunch of random numbers with a variety of fancy symbols sprinkled over them." he said to Nylon. He then turned around, tripping on his own feet. "Allison!" he shouted. "Allison! Where are you!?"

Bberkaan approached the problem with a cocked eyebrow. "It makes sense." he said in his heavy Dwemeri accent after a few moments of analyzing the equation. "But the holes in this project that require the sacrifices of human lives are not required." he looked at Nylon. "Have you ever heard of artificial life?"

Cyrul watched Bearn commit this ruthless act. He understood the circumstances. Bearn had the right to do what he did. "This makes me wonder how I shall die." Cyrul told Ana, thinking deeply. "Have you ever wondered how you shall die, Ana?"

When Lyeis and Calypso reached the cave, Lyeis offered to open the door. He placed each of his hands firmly on the door's surface and whispered a few Ayleid words. The door began to glow and it was opened as Lyeis cast a spell upon it. "<After you.>" he said to Calypso.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Allison appeared from the sewer entry. "What, what? I got the groceries, as you asked."

Nylon shook his head sadly. "Artificial life won't work on this machine, I think. Blame it on my genius machine failsafe designing."

"I've told you this, Cyrul." Ana whispered. "I still don't expect to survive this war." There was a sadness that briefly shined in her eyes. Ana was hiding the thought, she didn't just not expect to survive the war, she didn't want to survive the war.

[King Acunasti]

"Will you marry me, Allison?" Philippe asked. Just as he asked this question, he fell on the floor, unconscious.

Bberkaan rolled his eyes at Philippe and then turned back to Nylon. "We need some form of Dwemeri machine." he stated. "Comething containing a remnant of Lorkhanic energy. It will trick the machine into accepting the energy as human life."

Cyrul frowned and put his hand on Ana's cheek, gently turning her head so that she was facing him. "Look at me." he said sternly. "What the hell's wrong with you?" he asked with a bit of anger mixed into his tone. "Have you lost your will to live? Your love of life in this realm?"

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Nylon thought for a minute. "I don't think so. This can only be activated once, and the ancient rule with plans states that if something can go wrong, it will."

Allison bent over and took the bottle from Phillipe's hand. "I already took this away from him today." She muttered.

"Twice."

Ana looked away. "I don't think this is the time, Cyrul." She said curtly. Bearn was still kneeling on Haestrom's body.

"Shouldn't we find Gilen now? Our plan isn't over." Ana suggested.

[King Acunasti]

Bberkaan sighed. "Very well." he said to Nylon.

Cyrul spun Ana back around. "No, this is the time." he hissed. "Give me an answer."

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Ana looked to Nina, and everyone else who suddenly turned to look at them, besides Bearn.

"Really, Cyrul." Ana hissed. "Back at the Inn."

[Sav]

Ormis sat down. "So, whats the plan again?" He asked curiously.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"Gilen gives control of Haestrom's Husk army to Bearn. With those extra numbers on our side, we can take the Imperial City head on, and Doctor Gerronius can destroy Mora, hopefully, with his invention." Jane answered.

[Iamgoofball]

"Gerronius?" asked Theydas, standing at the back safely out of harm's way. The name seemed familiar - he could've sworn he'd read about it in one of Master Aryon's notebooks, but for the life of him he couldn't remember what was so special about it.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Bearn finally rose from Haestrom's body. "Nylon Gerronius - the best chance of winning this war. Now come on, we have to find Gilen in all this chaos."

[Mucro]

Leowyn had never broke his silence during the fight, he wished he could have done more.
