Fallout: Yosemite

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Micky equipped the stealth-boy quickly and an invisible voice said "I'll explore the place thoroughly, and see if we can get an advantage in even the smallest flaw. I'll be perfect."

Micky sneaked in the slightly open front door. In about half a minute, he came out again.

"Yeah, that... wasn't what I expected."

[Jake-uh]

"What's in there? What do you mean?"

Mick shook his head slowly. "Nothing good... I think. I can't explain it. I wouldn't know how."

[MARS]

Mars raised his eyebrow.
"What do you mean kid?"

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Micky opened the door. "Right around the hallway. I found the Patterson guy. But... something else found him first."

[MARS]

"So he's dead eh?" Mars said and smirked.
"Did you see the "something else"?" he added.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"He's not dead. Why don't you just see it for yourself?" Micky went inside the door.

[MARS]

"Oh. He just means he went feral." Mars said.
"Yates, this is your thing."

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"No. Just follow me, will ya'?" Micky said, exasperated.

[MARS]

Mars started chewing on his tongue. He was a bit nervous now.
"Right..." he said. "After you."

[Leyyuce]

Kelly placed himself in front of Mars and Mickey. "No, no. Mickey's already seen him. I'll go first, since you're too scared." He nodded towards Mars. "God, you're acting like a little kid." Kelly stepped into the town hall, weapon held low at his waist, scanning the building's first room with eyes alert. Obviously, it would have been more sensible to allow Mickey to show him to Patterson, but Kelly wanted to make a point to Mars.

[MARS]

"He told me to follow him..." Mars growled.

[Jake-uh]

You could tell Yates was getting aggrievated at kelly's child like attitude by now, but he decided to keep it to himself.
"We should check it out too, c'mon Mars."
Ge then began to cautiously walk inside, hand on his holster.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Micky turned the corner and revealed what he found.

Bodies of several dozen ghouls littered the large room. They were barely visible, though... because vines and weeds had grown over the majority of them. Dead in the center, was the most surprising thing. A tree.

A baby giant sequoia that brushed the ceiling. The tree was colorful and leafy, and in the center of it's trunk -a barely breathing Patterson, who looked crucified by vines.

"This may be the only tree is Yosemite." Micky said. "And there's only one explanation I can think of: The Protection Society."

[Jake-uh]

"What the hell!?" Yates took a quick step back and almost tripped over himself.
"How did this happen?!" He gasped out.

Steve reached the GYP HQ and entered. He headed towards the main office to talk to the leader. He was excited, because he never was here and never meet the big boss.

John stared in awe at the tree, and then walked over to Patterson, and slapped him in the face.
"Wake up sweetheart." He said.

[Leyyuce]

"I really don't think that he'll respond, John." Kelly said with just a bit of a mocking tone present in his voice.

"God... this thing must be feeding off of his body. What's left of it, anyway."

"Well, even if he doesn't respond, it still is fun." He said, slapping him again.

[Leyyuce]

"You've got a pretty skewed idea of fun, smoothskin." Kelly stated while further examining the deformed Patterson's features.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

Patterson mumbled something but did not look up.

[MARS]

"Wake up [&@%!] !" Mars said and kicked patterson.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"You're going to kill him!" Micky exclaimed.

[MARS]

"Relax kid." Mars said.
"Ghouls aren't that fragile."
