Frost spells effectiveness?
So I was just looking at the in game screenshots and noticed a large majority of them were in snowy areas (obviously), so my question was, do ya'll think Frost Spells will still be as effective? I mean I know its an artic type area, and a lot of the creatures probably would be cold resistant , but it would kinda stink if Frost Magic took a nose dive, also considering Nord's already have 50% frost resistance to begin with.

Daedra could be made weaker vs. frost spells.
Some creeps that inhabit deep, warm caves or Dwemer ruins may have frost weakness.
Perhaps even fire-breathing dragons...?

True! then again nothing kills an enemy like a Daedric Warhammer

An interesting thing that I didn't notice until checking this very wiki: most wildlife in Oblivion (wolves, bears, etc) had minor frost resistance
I think Skyrim's frost spells will do just fine.

Re: Frost spells effectiveness?
I'd imagine that seeing as Skyrim is a land of frost, if anything, the amount of elemental presence (of frost) would mean that Frost spells would be more powerful, to equal out the resistance to the cold, much like fire spells are empowered when cast in the elemental plane of fire (in the Dungeons and Dragons universe).

Perhaps creatures in the more snowy parts could be highly resistant to frost and have a great weakness to fire, likewise creatures in the more volcanic regions could be highly resistant to fire and so on.

Re: Frost spells effectiveness?
Even if a lot of the creatures have a Frost Resist, since their supposed to be adding secondary effects to the elemental damage types I could see that making up for the extra resists.
