Re: Best Theme?
I like the Skyrim theme the most. A close second is the Oblivion theme. Honestly I didn't like the Morrowind theme. I believe a game theme should get your energy flowing, for the adventures you are to go on. That isn't really true about the Morrowind theme. I like it as back ground music, but not as something I actually listen to really.

Re: Best Theme?
I like Skyrim the best, I can also play it on piano, so I have heard it more than the other themes i.e. every time I play it.
Is this meant to be witty, informative or deep? I doubt I can manage all three.

Re: Best Theme?
Morrowind's, it's whimsical, soft, a promise of adventure, and not as obnoxious as some of the other songs when heard for the one millionth time. It lacks the energy of Oblivion or Skyrim, but I like it, regardless

Re: Best Theme?
I love the Oblivion style of fantasy.
I reackon that they can work in a similar style with HF elements, in Skyrim, it can be epic.

Re: Best Theme?
I like Morrowind's the best. It's nice to listen to as I travel around the fantastical world of Vvardenfell and it fits the build of an adventure theme. However, saying that, I don't really prefer one over the others, I just like Morrowind's

Re: Best Theme?
Either Morrowind or Skyrim -- but Skyrim sounds just really epic. Morrowind, however, is really calming.

I'm partial to Morrowind, but I'm gonna have to say Skyrim this time...

I voted for Morrowind even though I've never played it... 2nd would be skyrim, then oblivion.

Re: Best Theme?
I have a nerdgasm every single time I hear the Morrowind theme.
My list goes as follows:
1. Morrowind - Because it is my favorite TES game so far, and I have heard that song many times over the years, every time accompanied with epic adventures.
2. Oblivion - I have played this game a lot as well, and the theme is simply great.
3. Skyrim - Because it is epic. I think the singing adds a lot as well.
4. Daggerfall - Because it's great.
5. Arena - Very close after Daggerfall, I believe I love them equally.
6. Redguard - I like it 'cause it's awesome.
7. Battlespire - Mostly because I've never played the game, so it doesn't really mean much to me.
IMO, experiences with a game plays a huge role when it comes to theme songs. If Morrowind had been a terrible game, I probably would've associated the theme with a terrible game, and so I wouldn't have liked it as much. I've played more Daggerfall than Arena, and so I have more nice experiences to associate the Daggerfall theme.
I've only played Redguard a little bit, but enough for the theme to have a greater impact on me than the theme for Battlespire, which I have never played at all.
This of course isn't always true. For example, I have no experiences to associate with the Skyrim theme, but it is still great.
