new challenge...

Post by bigstuff »

Im new to this forum stuff so not sure if its been suggested before, but i was thinking, im a 46 Spellsword altmer, maxed my stats and own some boss armour riding shadowmere, im head of all the guilds. Completed all quests and am about 90% game completion. Dont wanna buy the IC, Bravil & leyawiin houses as they're more like hovels!

Im wondering if anyone has gone round collecting one st of EVERY single style of armour possible in the game with offical mods. I have the 360 version sound cant do unofficial mods, and we dont get geek squad in England unfortunately!

How long has it taken anyone and has anyone done an variations on this theme? Say collecting one of every weapon, including all enchanted weapons and enchanted arrows? Or collected every single type of clothing and jewelery possible?

Any thoughts/suggestions on how/if i should go about this?

dude, if you want to do this,

first you must quit your job, leave your wife and kids, and lock yourself in a room with your 360 for the rest of your life.

still interested?

haha! yeah! luckily, i dont have a wife and kids, and im not a massive fan of my job! lol

im not that bothered about the time, i like to take my time when i play get the most out of my favourite game so far.

i love obscure stuff like that! i think im going to give it a go, with my trusty companion UESP.wiki to help me with all the types of armour for all offical mods and main game.

ill keep you updated.. then im going to do every weapon (depending on how long it takes to get a full suit of every type of armour available)!

I've done it with Arrows. Magic Arrows esp are my Ob obsession. But I even retrieve the Arrow of Extrication, even though you're then stuck with it.

I'm not into murder and carnage, but sooner or later I'm going to have to go far enough into the DB to get the Rose of Sithis.

I tend to keep 10 of each kind, and I designate one house and a partics container each time to keep them in.

Was v. funny when I first found Dremora Broadhead Arrows (well it was to me, maybe you had to be there!), but I hadn't realised that that archer had over 200 of them. I suddenly couldn't move, took me a while to work out that I'd just picked up nearly 500 weight in arrows!

I have one piece of almost every unenchanted armor and weapon, I only miss some durable stuff from the Shivering Isles. I also have alot of enchanted stuff, as I pick up all enchanted stuff I come over.

I have all the stuff I can't carry that isn't just a generic weapon or armour stored in the one chest in my Imperial City house.
Removed due to size.

I collect books. I built a library in the Editor to keep them all in. Tomes, too.

Oh yeah, and claymores. I try to collect every type of claymore.

I do DB after I close the oblivion gates. I play as a spy for the Empire to wipe out the Dark Brotherhood. Give Sithis the ol' punch in the crotch.

Yep, I've kept every single book that I've found so far since the beginning of the game. I'm currently thieving the Imperial City (stealing every single item) so I am building quite a collection.

I also keep every wine/mead/skooma ect... so I have a few thousand bottles now.

I've also never sold a piece of armor, clothing, or jewelry that had a magical effect to it. I keep all of them.

Idea right you have.
I'm considering doing the DB questline someday, but I'm just so happy with my squeaky clean character.

Once my current charcater becomes the gray fox, he will wipe out the theive's guild since all of them will become unessential. :Twisted Evil:
