I wish I had taken a SS of this but, recently I was checking in at the Imperial City, following Fathis Ull around till he started allowing me to fence some stolen loot with him again .... I follow him into the "Tiber Septim" in Taloz Plaza and start lagging BAD until I realise I am surrounded by Imperial Archers ... it's almost impossible to find a space to move away from them there seem to be at least 10 or so crowding the door ...
Then I decide to exit the Inn to fix the lag .... they start streaming out of the door and heading for the exit to City Isle!!! .... by now I'm seriously worried I have been playing Oblivion too long and have perhaps slipped into some strange dream, lol ... then I do what anyone would do in my situation ... I follow them out the door ... low and behold a long line starts heading from the IC door down towards the bridge ... they just keep coming .. the lag is still terrible and I count at least 40 archers.
I am using OOO so I know there are extra archers added to the walls surrounding the cities ... but I had never witnessed that before ... in the OOO mod, each city has variations on the armor for the Imperial guards, so when I looked closer at the long line, some were called "Anvil..." some "Chorrol.." and so on ... and as they made it across the bridge to Wawnet Inn, some peeled off towards Skingrad/Anvil and others kept going off to the eastern cities.
It was the strangest thing I have ever seen in Oblivion to date and it made me wonder with the OOO Mod has created some setting that sends out replacement guards from the IC???
It seemed to coinicide with my completion the final Thieves Guild mission.
Anyone else seen that before??

One time on the way to Anvil the Courier stoped to talk. when i looked up at her, her torso was rotating like a Fariswheel with her head and eyes being fixed on me.
I stood and watched that for a while.

As far as I know, they do not. If the first Captain dies, he is replaced.
This happened to me with the Captain, although, he didn't die. He would walk into the castle wall, to the right of the door. Then he would dissappear, and fall from about 15 feet in the air. He did this until I made him follow me inside.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Battl ... stle#NotesIf an accident befalls Castellan Athon, another captain (simply called Battlehorn Castellan) can be hired by visiting Nilphas Omellian and purchasing the Battlehorn Captain upgrade.

Not necessarily a weird glitch but still funny...
During the Whodunnit? Quest, the Nord and I tried to escape through the basement. I drew my bow, and he looked at me and said. "Yes, friend! We made it! We are safe." As soon as he was finished, the arrow flew, hit him in the face, and he flew back and slammed on the wall and fell down face first right in front of me...Worth a cheap laugh.

I missed it here.
I was doing the A Rat Problem quest for the Fighters Guild. I killed all of them only to have one suddenly start having epileptic seizures or something. His eyes were open and his jaw was open really wide.
Later when doing the second quest, The Unfortunate Shopkeeper, I talked to Norbert Lelles around noon. I walked outside and the three burglers were standing around outside, just waiting to break in. I tried attacking, but it counted as assault so I loaded an earlier save and just waited in four-hour increments (I had a reason at the time). When I came out of wait Frostcrag conjurer was there and he was attacked by everyone so I didn't even fight him. However, for some reason this made two of the burglers go crazy and start attacking me, so I killed two of them before they even broke in.
And lastly, when I FIRST installed Frostcrag Spire I was unaware of the conjurer. I was exploring it and waited on the ledge with all the magic teleporters. As soon as I came out of wait I heard the sound of teleporting, but didn't see anyone. So, I tried reloading and waiting less. I was rewarded by seeing the Conjurer walk out the door and for some reason he teleported to Bruma. I followed him to find him and the mages having a huge battle. I was at a high level so there were conjured Daedroth and Xivilai everywhere. It was epic.
