If the Dunmer weren't back to being powerful, Argonian destroying super-warriors. But, I agree on the third pointWolfie wrote:#1 have the dark elfs back to nomral

I was about to say you'd say that, but you said it firstChaosDawns wrote:Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!Qwackie wrote:If you can't play an instrument. I want to make a real bard.
Somebody already said "If they announced the world was going to end on 10/11/11," and, I completely agree with both.ZombieMonkeyNZ wrote:If they cancelled it on 10.11.11

if it became apparent that you HAVE to, y'know, use swords, or magic, or whatever to survive. Or, if you had to use a mixture of everything, instead of just playing your way.

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
They could ruin the game the same way they almost did in Oblivion; Bugs. I know the world was huge and it is and incredible ask to demand a bug-free game, but there were just too many in the original Oblivion release that broke the gameplay. This was not a problem on PC due to bug fixers, but on ps3 I ended up giving up and buying the game of the year edition for ps3 some years later.
If SKyrim can clear up even half the amount of bugs that there were in Oblivion, I'll be pleased.

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
They could ruin this game by:
Keeping high-level armour the same. (I hate Oblivion's enemies only having glass or daedric at levels 25+. Only unique items were even close to being useful AND appealing.)
Keeping Oblivion's crime system. Killing the Gray Prince normally in the arena counted as murder, and merely moving an owned item with the grab feature counted as an "item stolen".
Requiring crime for major quests. (Cheydinhal Recommendation, Mages guild, OB among others).
Not letting me collect every item I find, legally.
Not upping the enchantment strengths available, or spellmaking limits. (Feather spells that last only 2 minutes, when built-in spells can last for 6)
Not giving me a "Safe" container right from the beginning.
Not giving players a huge, wonderful house, in a central location, even at the end of the game.
Keeping the "vanishing inventory/items" bug. (I would put the wrong item into a chest/box for my collection, only to have to spend all eternity fishing it out, or having to load a save.)
Not giving Xbox or PS3 users graphics/terrain display sliders and options. (Those half-second hiccups when running across Cyrodiil were nothing short of annoying.)
Making unlocked doors never lockable. (In Oblivion, players couldn't break into their future homes, but guards or goblins could walk in with ease after they were purchased.)
Keeping those same dumb AIs. (You know them, the Imperial Forresters duelling each other north of Bruma, random villagers attacking wild trolls or minotaurs, and those INCOMPOTENT (words do not describe them) unleveled allies.)

So the game will be ruined for you if you don't have a chest to store stuff as soon as you get out of jail?

I agree with everything else, but really? You honestly think you should be able to walk into a house and take everything you find?Neural Tempest wrote: Not letting me collect every item I find, legally.

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing as the other two
Anyways, I thought of something they dont have anything on why the main badly could wear the amulet of kings, then again if they came out and said "we did it for .."
I guess it would be ok but something!!!!!!

Epic ruin:
Making the game a crap as they did with Fallout New Vegas (I dont even consider this Fallout a game... for me it's a great pile of s$%&)
PS: Sorry about the inferred word above but this is really what I feel about New Vegas. I could't find a better word to express myself.

If an oncoming enemy doesn't make me, the player, scared. Sure, just about everyone has jumped when they were a n00b without life detection while being surprise attacked by a skeleton. I want to feel emotion in more parts of the game, not just when I'm [&@%!] at the crashes.

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
Levitation sucked so bad, they already did the best thing for it in Oblivion,.... removed it. It made Morrowind so super gay, when I hadn't played it for a while it would go out and hook up with dudes.Minor Edits wrote:If they announced there would be no levitation, I may end up turning my back on it. At least some sort of flying may convince me to grudgingly buy it used, but levitation would be preferable.

Thats why they had the crusader boots. I even walked right in front of a bear and it didn't care wearing the boots. I took them off, and I was suddenly his lunch.
it is a mystery

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
What was wrong with New Vegas? Aside from the monumental number of bugs it was a decent game, I didn't like it as much as Fallout 3 but the sheer freedom offered in a lot of quests with multiple, important endings, was hardly a bad thing! Indeed, the handling of factions and quest options was very well done, I just wish it hadn't resulted in practically every quest having major bugs in it, thank Mehrunes Dagon for the Fallout wikia for documenting them all!Glaedr95 wrote:Making the game a crap as they did with Fallout New Vegas (I dont even consider this Fallout a game... for me it's a great pile of s$%&)
If anything the main complaint aside from the bugs that I hope won't make an appearance in Skyrim is the fact that nearly every quest had quest-markers pointing to everything you need to do… even in quests where you're supposed to be doing some investigation of your own! I can understand that sometimes these quests can be tricky in a free-form environment where it can be easy to miss a clue, but quest-markers weren't the right way to handle it, better to have NPCs who can give further hints if you get stuck.

Re: How Could they Ruin the Game for You?
Something that would annoy me is if the 1st and 3rd person animations don't match. I hate how the animations differed in Oblivion. In 1st person when doing anything but attacking you held your weapon straight and on screen (that must get tiring), while in 3rd person you held it out to the side. Also in 1st person you could aim upwards with your weapon, while in 3rd person when you aimed upwards your character model still appeared to be aiming straight forward. This was especially annoying on enemy NPCs who all use the 3rd person animations. You're up on high ground, enemy archer aims straight at the hill, the arrow flies out at impossible angle.

Bethesda made Fallout 3 which we all agree was good. So... Whats your point glaedr?
Anyway they could ruin it for me if they made it in any way like fable 2/3 (fable 1 was good).
