Windows 7 and DX11
All new games for the PC seems to take advantage of DirectX11 now. Something an XP user like me doesn't have. I was wondering if changing from XP to 7 just for DX11 is worth it because in my opinion XP is still the better OS.

Yes DX11 means better graphics. It was annoying that I could only play DA2 with medium texture detail. But I don't really want to change my OS...but if the difference is actually a difference then I'd consider it.

Re: Windows 7 and DX11
Almost no PC gaming nowadays benefits from DX11 still... most are DX9.0c or 10.1
The full DX11 PC gaming support list can be found here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ga ... 11_support
As you can see, very few so far...
As for the actual quality of the graphics, DX has almost no influence... PureVideo, OpenGL and by 99.99% the graphics card you're using does however.
