Well when i really get bored I look around town for an arrogant or bad-mannered NPC. Then i give them a punch and resist arrest. I punch the NPC till near death and chase him all over town, which somehow makes the citizens help attack the guards and the guy I punched. Tried this before in Cheydinhal, punched an orc, and when he fled he was too fast and by the time i caught up with him he was dead, probably killed by citizens. The citizens also started fighting guards behind me. Other than that, and for doing something that doesn't require reloading a previous save, i usually just read one of the books or bet on a fight in the Arena, or even roleplay a day in the game, going from my home to administering the Fighter's Guild in Chorrol, then travelling to the Arcane University, etc.
My weekly routine:
Collect my take, and send the Dunborrow Pirates out on another mission.
Stop by Valley Veiw Estates, pay the wages, collect the wine.
Head up towards Burma, and collect the wages at my mines.
Stop by the IC to sell my wines.
Stop by the Order of Nibany Bay Guild(s) (only collect money every month).
Go to Bravil and get contract(s) from Night Mother, then head to Cheydenal to collect DB take.
Stop by IC and do my Grand Champion Match.
Head down to Leyawiin, collect, and turn in some black bows.
Stop by Bartholm, do a few Arena Matches, and run a few errands.
Then check out random Dungeons, to keep the citizens safe from Bandits, Necro's, & Monsters.
Once a month, stop by Chorrol for the FG profits.
The message that the Pirates are ready for another Mission is my PDA reminder to start the cycle again.
