But now I'm stuck in a cave due to liches.

Howdy, guys.
I'm thinking of doing something similar to what Raven mentioned a while back. I should finish Arena, Daggerfall and Oblivion before Skyrim is released. The question is which I should finish first. I've managed to get a little bit into Daggerfall, so I might finish that first. It'd be awesome to have finished both Arena and Daggerfall before I finished Oblivion.

I'd love to do that Kalle, but the graphics of Arena (Even though I never judge heavily on that, usually) turn me away. I just can't deal with it. I can't.

Well start from Arena,finish it, then continue with Daggerfall...its the most logic thing to do

Bah. I've said it before and I'll say it again. 'Bad' graphics doesn't make a game bad. There are lots of great games with bad graphics, and lots of bad games with great graphics.

Arena is old school if you care about grahpics you wont like it, i how ever love it

Oh Kalle, I completely agree, but Arena just... Something is wrong. Maybe it's not the graphics. It could be the first person interface. I really am not sure.

I should probably download Daggerfall (it's free now isn't it?), but I've heard it's the most buggy game of the series, is that true?

I've played Arena, but the game was so different from Oblivion not just graphics-wise, but in the mechanics and even in the quests (they felt a lot less interesting) and the cities were huge (even too huge) so when I was on one of the many find-this-place-to-get-a-quest, or escort-this-person, or deliver-this, quests they were long and tedious in my opinion.

Hey Duruza! I think Kalle (if they're free) I'll download both Arena and Daggerfall. I'll try to get through Arena, but nI'm sure Daggerfall won't be an issue.

I couldn't get into Arena (didn't really get the controls), and Daggerfall wouldn't work on my computer... So, I've only played MW and OB.

@Duruza: Yes, it's free, and yes, it's quite buggy. So remember to save often. Also, there is a link on the UESP where you can download an easy to install and use copy of the game. No meddling around with DosBox or anything.

Weird. Well, in that case there's always the official one from Daggerfall. It's a bit more complicated, but there are instructions, so it shouldn't be a huge problem.

Played Arena. How do you attack?

Press and hold the right mouse button, then move it from one edge of the screen to the other. Different directions give different attacks.
