Ladies and gentlemen, all the spots are now filled, and I will be sending out PMs for player roles. Remember that if you do not receive a PM then you are merely a villager, and may the blessing of all that is pink be on your side as you try to decide who's who in this deceptive little game.

The game will start when I say so, which ought to be tomorrow. From that moment on, remember to stay in character; anything else should go behind a spoiler tag. If you have any questions ask them now or refer to the rules on the first post.

Twilight has come to the UESP village, and the residents have not forgotten the sight of one unfortunate Tim the Nord or the eerie letter so dearly attached to his forehead. The villagers have gathered to contemplate these two things and what it means. They know that they cannot leave, but not what fate awaits them if they stay. And so night falls upon them...

Begin roleplay; begin night.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

*Gasps* Avron! Heartless hider of posts!

Matt slowly circled the gathering place of the villagers restlessly. He never got to know Tim very well, because Matt was too busy always practicing alchemy and magic in his home.

"I don't understand. Why our town? Why is this happening?" He muttered to himself. "I knew I should have gone to the Imperial City to work in the Arcane University. I just knew it. I should have listened to Cousin Grace. Now I'll probably never see her again!" He ended shouting in despair.

[MARS]

Yeah, you'll notice that she said we've gathered to discuss. You can read through the previous games if you'd like to learn more.

Though she couldn't possibly explain it, Leilah had the oddest feeling of deja vu as she stood among the villagers. She wrinkled her nose at Matt's mutterings.

"Could've, would've, should've," Leilah said in Matt's direction. Her eyes narrowed, suddenly suspicious. "Why exactly didn't you go to the Arcane University, Matty? Not many people would pass up that chance."

[MARS]

Mars seemed unnerved. He stood in a corner looking around the room, saying nothing.

[King Acunasti]

King Acunasti suddenly spoke up. "Wait!" he shouted with a finger raised. "I have an idea!"

He somehow pulled a gorilla mask and a large pair of bongos from his pocket. He sat on the ground with his legs crossed, slipped the gorilla mask over his head, and began playing the bongos loudly.

[MARS]

Mars frowned.
"What is Acunsti doing again? This is serious. Make him stop."

[King Acunasti]

"The bongo drum is what brings life into situations like life." Acunasti said in a confusing way. "If there are no bongos, there are no monkeys or trees. That's just the bottom line. And if there are no monkeys or trees, the end of the world is truly near. And without a world, we won't have anything to stand on. Therefore, without bongos, there are no bongos." He continued playing his bongos.

[MARS]

"What in Oblivion are monkeys?" Mars exclaimed, seemingly annoyed.

[King Acunasti]

Acunasti gasped and began chanting a holy phrase. "Monkeys bless us, of all monkeys. For if monkeys are not known to man, man are eaten by monkeys, and monkeys by lions!" He stood and removed his mask. He then proceded to puke out a small sheet of paper. "This," he began, handing the piece of paper to Mars. "This is a monkey!"

On the slimy sheet of paper was a picture of a monkey.

[MARS]

Mars looked at the picture.
"Looks like an Imga" he said.

[Master Z]

Z read through the books in her bookshelves, hoping to find out if this had happened before.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"I'm simply not the city type. Unfortunately, I can't adapt either. It's... wait a minute, are you suggesting something here?" Matt asked, offended.

[MARS]

Mars grunted.
"Look." he said rather annoyed. "This is serious. Someone in our village was killed. Murdered. Horribly."

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"You're right, of course. But I can't concentrate with that madman playing that instrument! This is a time for mourning!" Matt yelled at Acunasti.

[MARS]

"NO!" Mars yelled. "It's a time for action."
He looked around the room.
"Someone is going to pay dearly for this."

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"And then what? Kill one of our own?" Matt asked incredulously.

[MARS]

"An eye for an eye's what I always say." Mars said bitterly.

[Arch-Mage Matt]

"Who do you suggest then, Mars? Who would you murder, if the choice was yours?" Matt asked.

[MARS]

"Who was it that had a grudge against Tim?" Mars asked imploringly.
"Don't you remember?"
