The curse of the crimson elixir (Fullmetal alchemist RP)
For anyone who hasn't read the anime or watched the anime heres a link to the wiki: http://fma.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
Its been 5 years after the promised day. The country of Amestris is now under the lead of President Roy Mustang. Most adjacent countries are now in peace with Amestris, Drachma still is in war but will end soon. All philosopher stones created by the military have been put in a vault and are being used for medical research. But last night, someone broke in. 10 philosopher stones where stolen. The guards are paralyzed. President Mustang has called 5 of the best alchemist/soldiers/mercenaries/ what ever you want to be, to get them back.
COMBAT
Every one has health and energy points.
Health points would be handled abstractly, example: Kevin had be shot in the arm. He`s injured but he can still fight
And energy points: Each time you perform a transmutation you will have less energy points. If the transmutation is difficult, more energy pints will be drained. They come back slowly. More energy is gained if you: rest, eat ,sleep. Every one starts with 100 points. Example:
Player: Kevin transmutes earth below him to create a wall to cover from enemy fire.
GM: Kevin use 8 energy to create it. He has now 92 left.
If you want to do alchemy but don't have enough points left you can still do it but it will take you to negative points. If you are in negative points you will get really exhausted and most likely faint. To get out of negative points you need to rest for several hours and and yo will return to zero. then you regain points normally.
CHARACTER SHEET
Name and last name:
Alchemist name (Only applies if you are an state alchemist( examples: fullmetal, fire, ice, iron blood, crimson...)
Alchemy specialization (Only applies if you are an state alchemist)( example: Fire, water, guns, explosions medicine( medical alchemy is extremely difficult and almost impossible with out the help of a philosopher stone or alkastry( Alkastry is a form of alchemy from the country of Xing)):
Secondary skill, You may choose 2: Martial arts, gun proficiency, meditation(will let you start with 50 extra energy points), Medicine( Normal type of meicine) survival.
Bio:
Personality (optional):
Age:
Height and weight:
Personal appearance:
DA RULES!!!
I am the all mighty Truth, fear me.
You must have a basic knowledge of the series.
You have never performed human transmutation so transmutation with out a circle is impossible ( you may whatsoever have tattoos, rings or other things that will let you quickly do alchemy, the energy rule still applies).
Equivalent exchange.
If you manage to get a philosophers stone you can perform alchemy ignoring the energy rules and equivalent exchange.
To join you must answer this question: Whats the only rule that is impossible to break in alchemy? (hint: Is one of DA RULES)

Yes but i recommend watching brotherhood. The story is basically the same. The gate of truth now doesnt work as a portal to our world. And there is a different method for creating philosopher stones. You can still join.

I hadn't heard of Fullmetal Alchemist until I clicked on your thread earlier today. But I spent over 3 hours combing through the wiki, and it has grabbed my interest. I'll join if you'll let me.

So I have a male and a female character prepared. I like them both a lot. Which should I choose?

I think the female character would add some balance to the RP.

Re: The curse of the crimson elixir (Fullmetal alchemist RP)
I think I'll go with the male.
He seems more developed than the female. If you make any other anime RP's, I'll be sure to use the female then.
Have fun reading his massive Bio.
Name: Lawrence Blackwell
Alchemist Name: N/A
Alchemy Specialization: N/A
Secondary Skill: Martial Arts, Gun Proficiency
Bio: Lawrence is the most ruthless, cunning, and renowned bank robber in the entire nation of Amestris. He and his crew were suspected to have raided over 58 banks throughout the country and killed at least 150 innocent civilians during their carriers.
Lawrence was born and raised in the largest, dirtiest, and most undesirable slum in all of Central City. His father was a raging alcoholic who was obsessed with the activities of the government and State Military. Lawrence’s mother did little to help him. She had practically been driven insane by his father’s obsessions, and she eventually killed herself when Lawrence was only eight years old.
Lawrence became involved with crime during his mid-teens. He and six of his thuggish friends raided military armories and smugglers’ hubs for weaponry. They used their guns to harass other thugs in the nearby neighborhoods for money. Lawrence slowly grew to become the de facto leader of the gang, being the oldest and most fearless member.
Eventually as the members of the gang reached their early twenties, their greed drove them to seek out larger and far more risky sources of money - banks. Lawrence greatly supported this. Wearing fearful masks and gloves and armed with high-grade military firearms, the “Blackwell Gang” conducted a series of remarkably perfect heists. They made hundreds of thousands and seemed to be unstoppable…until one of the gang’s members turned rat. The rat’s name was Aiken Anwyl. Aiken had been offered a large sum of money by the military for valuable information regarding the gang’s next heist. Aiken accepted and gave the military every bit of information they requested. When Lawrence learned of Aiken’s treachery, he had the man killed. But despite the fact that the military may have known about their plans, the gang foolishly still decided to conduct the next heist.
During the mentioned heist, the Blackwell Gang was surprised to encounter a line of State Military soldiers awaiting them outside the bank. Gunfire erupted. After a chaotic gunfight, the only members of Lawrence’s crew that remained alive were Lawrence and his closest friend from childhood, Felix Hodges. Lawrence and Felix surrendered to the military. Shortly after, Felix died of the gunshot wounds he had gained during the devastating gunfight.
Lawrence was sentenced to 446 years in Central Prison for his crimes. However, after serving 2 years of his sentence, he was temporarily released when the ten philosopher’s stones were stolen from the vault. He is on strict probation and will be immediately thrown back into prison if he does anything that is even suspected of being criminal activity.
Personality: Lawrence is a reckless, rebellious, and a tad bit narcissistic individual. He is psychologically ill and takes pleasure in fighting. He is highly opinionated and outwardly speaks against those who believe themselves to be greater than others. He despises the government for many reasons - mainly because of his outstandingly long sentence for his series of crimes. He chooses to ignore the skills of alchemists. He views them as “arrogant baboons” who think they can “control the government and all of its affairs just because of their power”. He even goes as far as to describe alchemy as “mankind’s pathetic illusion of magic”. Lawrence is mean and fears very little. This often gets him into difficult situations that usually put his life on the line.
Lawrence has an unnatural lust for women. He does not care who they are or where they are from. He will go out of his way to flirt with any attractive women in the vicinity. He also has an incredible love for alcohol, which also gets him into very dangerous situations.
But this does not make Blackwell void of all emotions. He is sometimes known to be very passionate and caring for certain people. Yet this is rare beyond measure.
He is unable to use alchemy. However, he prefers using firearms or blades anyway.
Age: Unknown (based on his appearance, he is most likely in his late-20’s/early-30’s)
Height: 6’2 (188 cm)
Weight: 215 (97.5 kg)
Personal Appearance: Lawrence Blackwell is a large and frightful man. Yet he is very handsome and takes pride in his good looks. From his life of crime and time in prison, he is tremendously muscular and well-toned. He has very tan skin, dark gray eyes, and thick black hair which he keeps combed into a very formal and attractive style. Various scars from bullet wounds are located on his body, and five small scars are peppered across the right side of his face from his time in prison. His teeth are as white as snow
Lawrence wears a gray t-shirt and a pair of black pants with a tall pair of black boots.
He seems more developed than the female. If you make any other anime RP's, I'll be sure to use the female then.

Re: The curse of the crimson elixir (Fullmetal alchemist RP)
Spoiler:
The waiting room to the presidents office was a medium sized white room. A blonde woman with glasses was sitting on a desk writing something on a paper. There where two leather couches that will fit 3 people each. The women noticed your presence and said through her phone:
"Sir, the alchemists you called are here" She hanged the phone and said: " President Mustang will speak to you in a minute, please take a sit". Loud speaking could be heard through the wooden door to the Presidents office.
