More something that irks me: Monsters respawning in places you had cleared out before. (Thinking you are safe calmly walking around when you get attacked by a Dremora Lord, after having cleared the place ages ago.)
Of course Cliffracer swarms.
The game lagging is fairly annoying.
Crashing (I once almost lost a character to this

Most annoying are the bunch of cliffracers that follow you after a longer travel. And their shrieks I hate them
. Some sound effects annoy me after quite awhile to.

As I played Oblivion before Morrowind, stamina going down while running really irks me.

Of course, Cliffracers!
That, and the fact that when ever some one walks, they thrust their pelvis out. It looks so damn retarded!

I sypmathise with cliff racers to be honest. I mean I'd be pretty aggressive too if I had wings but no legs.
My peeves:
- Daedroths, especially when I'm at a nooby low level.
- Daedric Shrines. I swear I'll never get a character powerful enough to clean one of those out in one go.
- The weird footstep sound effects in-game. And what's worse it's even weirder if you switch them off.
- The directions to Drulene Falen's guar herd. Damn, I spent literally hours looking for that place the first time I joined the Redoran.

Re: Things you don't like about Morrowind...
The directions given are either horrible or I suck at following them. Perhaps both.
I can never, NEVER find the lady to give the silver bowl to without going to the UESP Map, or loading up the Construction Set, or using the coc command.
I spent hours trying to find a mine for the Fighter's Guild.
One of the daedric princes wants me to go to a place "near Kogoruhn". Yeah, thanks for telling me what the heck this "Kogoruhn" is. It'd be nice if they put it in the journal, since it's hard to understand what they're saying.
That's another pet peeve, which is worse in quest mods: poorly-filled-out journal entries/quest logs. One mod tells me to go talk to someone I chatted with in a previous quest (the dialog said where they are, but the journal doesn't.. what, am I supposed to write notes on a piece of paper!?). At least three-quarters of the mods I've used are guilty of this. Yeah, I talked to that redguard before, but it was 20 in-game days and a week ago in real life, so I have no idea who this person is anymore nor where they are. I have to pop open the Construction Set to locate them! There is no excuse to not add "...go see Jerry Badmitton Falbalasto, who is located in Ebonheart, just outside the door of the Imperial Cult shrine" at least once in the journal. Seriously, not that hard. Oh, even worse is just to say the city: "Martock von Kringleheimer lives in Balmora". Uh... do these mod-makers regularly tell their real-life friends and family to find a specific restaurant "in Chicago, have fun looking around!"? If modders are gonna do that, at least they can add a topic to NPCs there so I can frickin' ask around like I would in real life! ARGH!
Anyway, horrible directions. Ugh. I wish more would add something about how close a place is. "Alas Tomb near Molag Mar". Is it close? Far away? I'd love to know so I don't just keep hiking in one direction half-way across Vvardenfell when it's maybe one 50 pt Jump spell a little to the left of where I was heading.
Another one. Any directions mentioning the foyoda. "It's along the Foyoda Mamaea". How in the blasted name of Namira am I supposed to know what "Foyoda Mamaea" is?? They don't exactly mark it on the map! And even if they did, when I'm there, I have no idea how to distinguish it from, y'know, every other valley in the game. Like in every single place in Vvardenfell that isn't the Grazelands. I've been playing for more than half a decade, and I still can't recognize a foyoda when I see one! Oh sure there are in-game books that point them out... but do they give you one of those maps when assigning you the quest, or at least point out someone who sells them? No? Then they're useless! But oh wait, even if they did, those drawings of Vvardenfell were obviously made before the game was completed! Look at that thing! It says Ald'ruhn is where Gnisis is!! And that Sadrith Mora is on a peninsula! And Vivec is NOT next-door to Seyda Neen! The only way I've been able to figure out where the foyoda are (since there's absolutely no in-game way to tell) is the immersion-murdering method of looking it up on the UESP Wiki. Attention: that last link leads to TVTropes. You have been warned.

If they weren't nords, but instead dunmer or redguards, nobody would call them "racist".

The fact that they didn't provide you with a compass to make it easier finding direction in maze like areas and the world in general.

Re: Things you don't like about Morrowind...
Err... talking to most NPCs will have them mention Vvardenfall geography, and the Foyadas come up. Basically, those narrow valleys? Those are foyada. People in Balmora will tell you that the foyada mamaea is the one that runs past Fort Moonmoth and all the way up to Ghostgate. I should note, if you have the map that came with the game (can see it at http://images.uesp.net//b/bb/MW-Map-Vvardenfell.jpg), it's much easier to note various landmarks on it, foyada included.Iaius Amaius Heron wrote:Another one. The lack of House Indroil and to a lesser extent Dres. The other houses were so good that I would definitely made more characters for the other two. (I guess it's not really a weakness)
Yeah, it's been said but the directions were a pain sometimes. (Again, probably the player's fault, but they could be clearer)
And finally, the fact that it isn't available on PS2. (Damb Microsoft

If it's black rock, it's a foyada. There's a lot of them. It's like saying "road" to normal people. Now, I can understand not telling the various foyada apart, but the main one mentioned is the foyada mamea, which is right by balmora and fort moonmoth, and runs from a 6th house base in the south to ghost gate to the north. All the other foyada don't really have much of importance, except for one that's part of the easiest land route to the urshilaku camp.Iaius Amaius Heron wrote:And I cannot tell those apart from every other narrow valley in the game.urthdigger wrote:Basically, those narrow valleys? It's still on the first page so this doesn't count as necromancy right?
Apart from a lot of things already mentioned, my pet peeve is the fact that rank doesn't seem to mean anything. There you are, Knight of the Imperial Dragon, wearing the Lords Mail, and some trooper tells you "I am an officer of Imperial law. Move along." That should be "move along sir."
Or when you're Patriarach of the Tribunal and the ordinators still treat you like crap. Having rank in the Temple does not seem you can move around that floating prison either. Or when you need to hire guards for your stronghold and get told you need to do a favour before you can get anyone. Hang on - I'm the Master of the Fighters Guild - just do as I say, don't tell me I need to do something for you - YOU'RE FIRED!!

Yeah that's pretty annoying. And frankly it wouldn't be that difficult to rectify either. Perhaps they'll fix that stuff finally in Skyrim.
