Re: 1:1 on the time scale
I don't think Nirn is a "planet" in the sense we understand. It's a plane of existence. It doesn't orbit around anything.

are those big round things in the sky its moons does anyone know? I like the idea of meeting a sage on top of a high mountain who has a telescope and can spy on adventurers in towers on high mountains looking back from up there
there is that dlc quest to piece together the solar system machine in oblivion don't forget, that's mainly why i thought planets and orbits were involved

Re: 1:1 on the time scale
I voted No (or tried to, it kept saying my vote was invalid or some [&@%!]?) because, while it sounds good in theory, many people only play for a couple/few hours a day, so it could take like a week of playing just to see night time or day light. I think the scale that oblivion is on is fine.

Re: 1:1 on the time scale
Can't vote on the poll for some reason...
But yeah, I think it would be a nice toy to play around with. Forcing it on the player would be stupid, but being able to adjust the time scale in the game via slider would be a nice feature. Of course, in Oblivion (and Morrowind?) you can do it with console commands anyway. It makes you realise just how silly the wait function is.

Re: 1:1 on the time scale
No. Mattbot basically hit the nail on the head, it doesn't work. Times are scaled in a game for a reason.
Imagine the time investment needed for this kind of thing, plus the horrid wait times etc.
That said, I imagine it could be interesting to try, but not hardcoded into everyones game, and probably not even as an option.
It's already possible to change the timescale with console or mods on the PC anyways.

Hmm I see wht you mean but I still think 1:30 is too much. How about 1:24?Jillian wrote:No. Mattbot basically hit the nail on the head, it doesn't work. Times are scaled in a game for a reason.

A day would pass in an hour.
