Murtagh ignored the Daedra--it was more afraid of him then he was of it (in both cases, not much).

In about two minutes, he had managed to break several bricks from the wall, weakening it just enough.

He turned, setting a mark spell so he could return to this place later with more Hunters, and then blasted the rest of the bricks away with a blast of blue lightning.

Dusting his hands off, he jogged over to the ladder that he had climbed into the cellar with. He felt the ground shake above him: it was a stampede up there.

Lucien’s quarters were massive. The hardwood floor, red rug, and dark blue walls were illuminated by the large marble fireplace at the center of the room. His bed was the size of a small kitchen, and many ceremonial swords, shields, and daggers lined the walls. Gigantic windows lined the room, giving him a fantastic view of the lake.

He lay asleep in his bed, his head rested on a pair of large, highly expensive pillows. He wore a pair of white pajamas. The sounds of the chaotic skirmish throughout the manor could not penetrate the walls of his room. His faithful dog, Hannibal, sat at the edge of his bed. The dog seemed to know something was happening outside. But he remained quiet and obedient, careful not to awaken his master.

Suddenly, Romulus burst into the room, followed by Franco, Isabel, and their four escorting soldiers. Hannibal snarled ferociously as they entered the room. But he settled down after realizing that they were friendly, and not enemies. Lucien sat up almost instantly. “Romulus?” he asked, rubbing his eyes. “Mother?”

“Come here, sweetheart!” Isabel said as she dashed towards the bed, hugging her son tightly and kissing him on the cheek numerous times. “We have to leave! Now!”

Lucien pushed his mother away. “Can’t I get dressed?” he asked irritably.

“No.” Franco said to Lucien, removing his mask. He had a stern expression on his face. “You must come with us now, boy.”

Lucien’s eyes widened at seeing that the masked man was his father. He spoke much more respectfully. “Yes, Father.” he murmured, beginning to climb out of the bed. “Whatever you say.”

The Xivilai rushed through the busy streets of the Imperial City. Civilians screamed at the sight of the monstrous Daedra. The Xivilai sprinted towards a large carriage. The carriage’s driver yanked on the reins. The horses made a sharp turn to the right, causing the carriage itself to tip over. The Daedra leaped over the fallen vehicle and landed upon a Bosmer man. He tore the man’s heart out with his own fist and charged into a nearby alley. The nearby people screamed, causing a massive panic. It nearly sparked a riot. Chaos was everywhere.

Matthias ran through the streets of the Imperial City. Nearby, he spotted an Xivilai attacking people. Matthias got a little closer to it, and tried his best to get it's attention.

A great shout rang out across the city. The people stilled and looked up.
Venim was standing opposite the Xivali, his weapons aimed at it.
"YOU DO NOT HARM MY PEOPLE, FIEND!" Murtagh bellowed.

Khazakra followed the xivilai into the ally. He threw a ball of fire at the xivilai, still not doing much damage, but was able to distract it from the civilians. He sprinted in the opposite direction, trying every mind trick he could to stop it. The daedra mind though, was a hard thing to get around.

Franco, Isabel, Lucien, Romulus, and their four soldier escorts sprinted through the East Wing of Rex Manor, avoiding the chaotic battle at the Entrance Chamber. The East Wing was filled with important historical documents, hundreds of foreign arts, and weapons. It was beautiful.

Sprinting down the stairs above the kitchen, they finally arrive at the eastern exit of the manor. The doors were large and crafted from a rare wood of High Rock. Franco inserted a large silver key into the keyhole, unlocking the doors. He kicked the doors open.

As planned, a large armored carriage awaited them at the stone path that trailed behind the stables and the soldiers’ barracks at the far east side of the estate. The armored carriage was drawn by four massive and powerful chestnut horses and had a mounted Gatling gun at the rear, allowing the passengers to eliminate targets from the safety of the carriage without exposing themselves to enemy weapons outside of the vehicle.

Ten of Rex’s elite soldiers had surrounded the carriage, mounted on large black horses and wielding perfectly crafted percussion rifles. Each had a golden sword sheathed at their waist.

“Master Rex?” asked the driver. The driver wore a dark military uniform and an executioner’s hood that completely concealed his identity. His voice was deep and almost possessed a satanic tone. “Is that you?” he asked again. “Please, climb inside! We must escape!”

“We will guards you with our lives, Master Rex.” one of the soldiers said proudly to Franco, rearing his massive horse.

“Thank you, soldier.” Franco replied with a stern expression.

“Come now, Masters!” Romulus called to his masters as he opened one of the doors of the carriage. “Get inside!”

__________

The Xivilai frowned at his enemies’ tactics. They did very little to harm him, yet they enraged him to an unnatural degree. His raised his hands and clenched his fingers tightly. When his hands opened up, two large balls of flame had ignited in his palms. He then clapped his hands together, causing a gigantic combustion that blasted both Venim and Khazakra back at least thirty yards, forcing the two completely through the walls of a couple nearby buildings. The explosion had destroyed half of the two buildings that sat on each side of the Xivilai.

With his mortal challengers occupied (or dead, who could tell?), the Xivilai leaped onto the crumbling walls of the half-destroyed apartment building on his right. The mortals that had occupied the damaged rooms were either dead, fleeing, or hiding due to the Daedra’s devastating detonation. Grasping a large pipe, the Daedra climbed the pipe all the way to the roof.

After reaching the roof, it roared so loudly that all men, women, and children in a one-mile radius were deafened for a moment or two. It then sprinted across the apartment building’s roof and leaped onto the roof of another structure. Numerous Imperial Legion soldiers fired upon the monster, but it was just too fast.

Eventually, the creature had reached White Gold Tower. He leaped across the streets and landed upon the base of the Tower. With rage and violent energy, the creature smashed wells into the thick stone walls of the ancient structure and began its ascension to the top. Imperial Legion soldiers fired at the monster from the streets, but it had very little affect. The civilians circled the Tower, watching as the monster got higher, and higher, and higher to the top.

Venim marched into the Witchhunter's tower, his order's main headquarters. Walter, Monet and Octavius were behind him.
He walked into the large, circular room which contained the Hunter's Council, where all missions were organized and discussed. It had a large round stone table, doughnut-shaped. By this reckoning every Hunter was equal.
However it was obvious who was in charge. The woman in question stood up, strode over to Murtagh and slapped him hard in the face.
She was a tall Imperial woman in her forties: Pandora Corsades' skills of the trade were matched only by Murtagh's. Her greying hair was tied back and her long leather coat was trimmed with gold.
"You fool," she hissed, but her voice rose to a shout. "You FOOL! WHY DID YOU LET THAT CREATURE ESCAPE?"
Murtagh looked back at her, his red eyes squinting. "Why haven't you acted yet?"
She slapped him again. Murtagh spat blood on the marble floor, and looked at the other Hunters. There was approximately 100 in the order at all times: if one died they were immediately replaced. Now they stared at him, wide-eyed and scared.
Corsades grabbed Murtagh by the front of his coat and pulled him forwards. "Your focus is on me, scum. After you have killed that creature, you are to hand in your badge. Do you understand?"
Venim's eyes narrowed. "You--"
"UNDERSTAND?" Pandora shouted, her grey eyes wide and furious.
Venim twisted from her grip. He stared at the floor, eyes narrowed.
"I will need 20 men. All armed with the finest weapons. Have you talked to Archmaster Arrantius?"
"Yes. He has given you permission to detonate the tower. Destroy that creature at all costs."
"Understood." Venim turned to the Hunters. "Monet! Polarus! Berethon! Neville! Agrippina! Hlaalu! Mollon! Antus! With me. Octavius, Walter, Vincenti, Llethran, you go with Corsades. The rest of you, prepare for battle."
Venim swept from the room, followed by his selected troops.
"Where are we going?" asked Mollon, an Altmer with blonde shoulder-length hair.
"To kill the beast."
"What about the others?"
"They're going to have to kill the creatures we summon to kill the Xivali."
"....what?"
"Silence. I know what I'm doing."

Khazakra woke up on the floor in a badly damaged inn with a massive headache, but the battle was not yet over for him. His ability to twist a personality would barely work on a daedra mind, but he still had the resort to decay its body with necromancy. He left the inn, and saw the daedra in top of white gold tower, he was too far away for the spell to work, he headed to the tower slowly, still exhausted by the xivilais blast of fire.

Spoiler:
Sorry about the massively long post, guys. I'm sort of trying to interact with everyone's characters, including Leyyuce and seventhsage's characters.
The Xivilai had finally reached the top of White Gold Tower. It roared loudly like a creature from hell. The monster fired various lightning bolts and balls of ice and fire down upon the surrounding streets, causing gigantic explosuions that killed civilians and soldiers alike. It almost seemed like the Daedra was unstoppable.
__________

Franco’s armored carriage, followed by his escort of 10 mounted elite soldiers, roared across the path towards the hidden exit on the far east side of the property. The small gate was located in a modest wooded area were Lucien often played as a child.

The carriage was lit by a lantern inside, as it was extremely dark due to the fact that the only window on the entire vehicle was located at the rear where the Gatling gun was mounted. Franco and Romulus sat at one side of the carriage. Isabel and Lucien sat at the other. Isabel kissed her son on the head as she rubbed his shoulder in a consoling way. “We’ll be alright, sweetheart.” she told the boy. “Don’t you fret. We’ll keep you safe.”

“Stop it, Mother!” Lucien whispered, slightly annoyed by his mother’s protectiveness and worry. “I don’t even know what happened! I’m still wearing my bloody nightclothes!”

Franco removed his hat and pulled the black velvet hood from his head. He placed his hat on the seat beside his mask. “I hadn’t expected them to break into the manor so quickly.” he whispered to Romulus. “I thought we’d have more time.”

“How shall we respond, Master?” Romulus asked, removing the mask from his face as well.

“Murtagh Venim is a creature of ignorance and absurdity.” Franco stated. “His actions have led to the releasing of a highly dangerous specimen into the city. That creature was undergoing a defined training program! If not for the idiotic actions of the Witchhunters, the city would still be safe from harm.” He sighed. “I own another private estate six miles north of the city. It is located at the heart of the wilderness, which should offer us some form of protection against our enemies. That is where we are headed. We shall plan from there.”

“I don’t want Lucien exposed to this danger!” Isabel interrupted. “I want him sent to my father’s villa in Evermor immediately!”

“Very well.” Franco said to Isabel. “That is a wise decision. I understand.”

Lucien groaned. “Do I have to?” he asked his mother.

“Yes.” Isabel told Lucien. “You must.”

“I will send a messenger bird and send Lucien to High Rock by locomotive.” Franco said. “I shall purchase a ticket as soon as possible.”

Two guards opened the hidden exit gate. The carriage roared through the gateway and onto a narrow path leading to the streets. They had successfully escaped.

__________

With the Rex family having successfully fled the estate, Franco’s soldiers were able to focues the whole of their attention on the chaos occurring on the property itself. Twenty soldiers formed a line in front of the cluster of battling Sorcerers, carriage drivers, and other soldiers. They simultaneously fired their rifles into the sky. Everyone stopped and turned to the line of men.

One of the soldiers rode in front of the line on horseback, turning to face the Sorcerers. “This skirmish is ended!” he shouted, holding a large rapier above his head. “Each of you are to board your respective vehicles and depart the property through the main gate immediately! If any of your drivers have been injured and are unable to complete there task, another driver shall be provided for you! If these orders are not followed, you shall be forced to face the punishment of Franco Rex himself!”

The vast majority of the Sorcerers obeyed. None of the drivers were too impaired to operate the carriages. However, a few of the Sorcerers were harshly injured and required immediate medical attention. These men and women were hurriedly escorted to their vehicles by numerous pairs of soldiers.

One by one, the carriages began to depart. Many of Franco’s soldiers ran about the property carrying bodies, damaged objects, and medical supplies.

__________

Jacques Bonaparte was the Breton captain and primal officer of Franco’s private soldiers. He was capable of using devastating spells in the magical school of Destruction. Bonaparte was one of Franco’s closest and most trusted allies. He was powerful, fearless, and a perfect leader.

Escorted by seven elite soldiers, Captain Bonaparte marched through the eastern halls of the Experimental Chambers. They each carried bright torches that illuminated all that surrounded them.

“Franco, Isabel, and Lucien Rex have successfully fled the property.” Bonaparte told one of his officers, Major Louis Necker.

“Outstanding.” Necker replied.

“Hopefully, our men in the gardens have effectively brought an end to the conflict at the fountain.”

The soldiers then approached a nearby corner and made a turn down the right corridor. They were shocked to encounter Sayeal and an Argonian man (Leel) crouching in the darkness of the hallway. Bonaparte, Necker, and their six accompanying soldiers each pointed their firearms at Sayeal and Leel, their fingers rested on the triggers.

“Sayeal Bourdabas…” Bonaparte murmured with a malevolent grin on his face, pulling back the hammer on his pistol. “I never thought I’d find you walking about this property again. And with a dirty lizard at your side for support?” The Captain chuckled. “This is a restricted region. Neither of you are permitted to walk these halls. You have no business here. Turn and leave…or else you and your rancid amphibian friend shall suffer an agonizing death. Things have changed since you’d last visited the estate, Miss Bourdabas. This section of the manor is a dangerous one for those who have not received a proper invitation from Franco Rex himself. I’ve always liked you, Miss. But you and I both know of my unbreakable loyalty to the Rex family. I will kill you if I have to. Turn and leave. This is your only chance.”

As the Captain voiced his commands, Leel let out a long, quiet hiss; he had concealed his right hand, which gripped his firearm, behind his back. Even so, the weapon was pointed to the floor at the moment.

"I'd say we do have something to do with what's going on here. We all do. It's no secret the sort of creatures being held here; and its obvious you don't, in fact, have them under control." Leel spoke with little hesitation, even in the presence of a man such as this; he held no respect for Bonaparte, and saw little reason in turning to leave when the men could very well gun them down as they showed their backs.

“Do not speak!” Bonaparte shouted at Leel, pointing his pistol at the Argonian. “A peasant outwardly speaking against authority? These must be truly corrupted times that we live in. You shut your mouth before I splatter your lizard brains across these cold stone walls! How dare you insult the confidentiality of this place!? The ‘creatures’ within these chambers are not kept here to tame. They are not pets. They are kept here for study; experimentation. Those who are proven loyal to the Master are given the opportunity to stay. Do not insult the aptitudes of the Rex family, reptile!”

Bonaparte pointed his pistol back at Sayeal. “Leave.” he growled. “Now. Do not return without a formal invitation from Franco Rex. As I had said before, Miss Bourdabas - I like you. But I do not fear you. And I do not favor you over my employer. I am sorry, but if you do not leave now…My men and I will fire.”

Do it. I'll post the dramatic fall scene.

Unless MurtaghSpector wants to unleash his monstrous Daedra to fight my monstrous Daedra. In that case, I'll just wait for him. Either way, I want this thing dead.
It would surely make the headlines in the Black Horse Courier (or whatever the newspaper is called in the Tenth Era).
"What was that?" Isabel asked her husband.

"Bloody peasants..." Franco growled. "MOVE ALONG!!!" he called out to the driver.

The driver snapped the reins. Franco's escort of ten mounted soldiers followed, nearly running Matthias over as they passed him.

"Sir, do you think this incident will mean our war with the sorcerors will go full scale?" Antus could barely see the Xivilai at the top of the tower.

"Yes," Murtagh replied to Antus. "Yes, there's no avoiding it now. Hlaalu, the sniper rifle."
Hlaalu, a pretty young dunmer, produced a long package from her coat and handed it to Murtagh. He ripped open the cloth, revealing an enormously long gun. He hefted it and pointed it upwards towards the Xivali. There was a small crosshairs mounted on the barrel which allowed Murtagh to aim more accurately. He fired. The power of the gun made him stumble backwards, and the bullet flew through the air and slammed into the Xiavli's back. This was made of Daedric, a material crafted from a Dremora's armor. It had also been enchanted with a fire spell, so if it hit the Daedra, it would burst into flames. Murtagh prayed the bullet would connect, or at least draw the creature's attention.
