The ears would hardly fit under that hood. And he looks...humanish. The hands are too big.

Hardly fit? We're not talking WoW here. Elvish ears aren't that big.

Not all goblins are short, either. I'm more inclined to say Dunmer though.

My theory: Just a GOBLIN

i know it looks too tall for a globlin but watch the skin and the armor, maybe bethesda make them look more humanoid to avoid the "clipping" glitch for finishing moves and things like those.

A green-skinned Dunmer? Hmmm

I'm going to say a slightly taller than average Goblin

Or an emaciated and short Orc

It's possible Bethesda made them more humanoid, but given the proportions they have on the giants, I don't see why that would be necessary. The armor itself isn't very goblinesque either; in fact, close examination of the GI magazine image (which is much brighter, and shows the skin as blue rather than green) on page 50 and the shot of the Dragonborn cutting down what is clearly an NPC on page 51 shows that both our mystery figure and the aforementioned NPC are both wearing the same cuirass (or at least the same shoulder guard). This doesn't rule out goblins equipping actual playable armor now, but it seems like an odd choice for such primitive creatures.

It could be a goblin. I think it might be related to the ones from Morrowind. There are two species of them and the ones from Morrowind are mor intelligent and capable of making things like armor; that is not scraps like Cyrodiil Goblins.

Then again are't those ones kinda hunchbacked? :? The thing in the picture doesn't seemed hunchbacked.

Unless Bethesda decided to completely change the look of goblins in game, I doubt it's a goblin. examples: Morrowind, Oblivion. Redguard's goblins look impish or like Orcs.

My guess is one of the following A) a Dunmer, B) a Falmer or C) something new / lesser known/used humanoid.

I'd say its a dunmer. Just because its wearing greenish armour doesnt automatically make it a goblin, it could be armour of anykind that players can wear.

It's an Orc, looking for a hug. Nobody loves it when an Orc tries to hug them.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

My money is on a sub-variant of Orc, one that isn't over-bulging with Muscles.

By the looks of it, the dude being stabbed is a Dunmer, if you look at the ear structure, you'll notice that the top if it is longer than most ears. Also the skin complexion, it matches that of a Dunmer.
As for the other guy, I'd say he's either Breton, or Imperial, most likely Imperial. The skin complexion matches, so does the height.

And can someone please tell me how they look like goblins? I've seen the Tribunal goblins, and they look nothing like that. But I haven't seen the Redguard goblins, so...
