These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two! For this first competition I’m going to choose a theme to get things started, but next month it’s going to be up to you to contribute to the idea pool, so don’t give up if this one doesn’t interest you.
Some of you may remember the old Competition of the Month held by Moderator Dean, and some of you may be new to the idea, but these are going to be a little different and hopefully just as enjoyable. Let’s review the rules for everyone:

Since March 20th was the celebration of Oblivion’s first release five years ago, this month’s competition is going to feature your favorite character from Cyrodiil. Both writers and artists will be this month’s talent venue, but to kick things off we’re going to have a little twist.

It is now time to start planning your entries, but here's the announcement: you're not going to do it alone!That's right - this competition is going to be a team effort! Together with your partner, who has randomly been selected from the participants, you're going to take the characters you chose and create a submission about what happens when they bump into each other at a tavern of your choosing in the Imperial City. We seem to be outnumbered by writers here, but if you're lucky enough to have an artist in your team, see what sort of illustration they'll create to go with your story. Don't forget to work together!
