I'll probably have to wait for a while, i think I'll order it from Amazon, it'll be here in a week or so.
So far from what I've read, it's like a Mass effect-->Mass effect 2 conversion. Tell me how it is when you get it guys.

Grrr......tiny script....just like ME2, OMG its even tiny on the inventory. Thanks Bioware. Jeez 20 minutes into the game all I can say is, major disappointment. Can't see any details on the enemies, have to enter the pause menu to access everything, they took away being able to fight with two weapons. Really crappy game so far.

You can fight with two weapons if you're a rogue. (demo)

Who said that was a bad thing?

I like it, my only complaint would be how they pass so casually between years. Everyone's in the same spot, and nothing's changed besides the loss of quests.

Also, this is a question for anyone who already ventured into the Deep Roads and has Bethany as a companion:
Spoiler:
Is there a way to rescue her from the tower?

The only way to save her is to take you with you when you go to the Deep Roads, and have Anders in your party. She'll still leave your party at the end of Act 1, however.
I just beat the game last night. I have many issues with the plot. I loved the overhauled combat system, though.
It's been good travelling with you, Warden. Don't get lost in the shuffle now.

Finished the game last night. I think it's really good. The only thing that drives me nuts is the replay-ability. You can pretty much re-set any party members stats to try every angle the first playthrough, you aren't left with much interest in playing it through again.

Well that killed a couple days for the wait for Skyrim...... weak.

DA2 Seems to have tried to pander to 2 different groups and succeeded in falling on its face =/.

Does anyone know why
Spoiler:
Helping the Starkhaven mages without death results in them hating you and Thrasks entire secret order attacking you when you Investigate on behalf of Orsino?
Seems that no matter what you're stuck following the same course of events...you just get to pick a side occasionally =/.

Just dropping by to say: if anyone's not befriended Sebastian or Isabela yet - don't. There's a bug which critically affects your PC's attack speed, ultimately making the whole game unplayable. It's tied to the Friend perks (mostly Isabela's Thumbs Up) which boost Hawke's stats. It may also be tied to corrupt filesaves, so to anyone who hasn't got very far with Isabela or Seb, keep an older save as back up.

That way, if a patch is possible, then all you'll have lost is a few hours. I may have to delete all 45hrs worth of my character - so I'm kinda hoping BioWare sort it out. As well as punch themselves in the throat for having let such a gamekilling bug reach retail...

(aside from that: I think every change made to Origins has resulted in a better game. the demo and various reviews prepared me for a big disappointment, but I think it's a huge success. Talky-Hawke also shows up Mass Effect's Shepard for being UTTERLY boring, so on that front, it's more succesful than Mass Effect 2)

A question, for all those who have completed the game:
Spoiler:
If you had The Exiled Prince, who did you choose: Anders or Sebastien? If you didn't, did you kill or keep Anders? I was going to keep him, but then Sebbers convinced me otherwise.
And just to anyone: Who's your favorite companion, and who's your least favorite? My favorite was Aveline, least favorite was Anders. He was just too whiny, poor-me like.

In Sundermount, you can meet a golem called the Nexus Golem. I think he hints toward Dragon Age III.

"The Stone sleeps beneath Orlais." Then it says stuff in Dwarven language. Also, Bodahn and Sandal say they are moving to Orlais, and it's likely they're not leaving the series.
