Related to that, how about items that have uses? If I find a rake, let me rake up leaves. If I have a shovel, let me dig up graves and dig trenches. I see all kinds of paintbrushes and canvases...how about letting me paint?

Some kind of Hairdresser,to change your hair. I got rather bored with my Nord's appearance at one point in Oblivion and wished I could change it...not asking for facial changes, but something that lets you even slightly alter your appearance later in the game for a price or something would be welcome.

There are rumours that ESVI is being co-developed with Zynga to give that yearned FarmVille feel.KneelBeforeZod wrote:If I find a rake, let me rake up leaves.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
I would like them to fix the major bugs when they have had years to do so. I dont like having to play the first few missions of the theives guild right off the bat every game just to make sure i dont catestrophically break it at some point.
Evolving graphics for the spells as you get better at them.
Different ways to go through each guild or storyline.
Multiple versions of each kind of weapon. For instance, iron longswords that look different depending on what region of skyrim you found them in.
I didn't used to like the scaled leveling but i do now, keep that. If you want to make a character that can one-shot everyone with a bow cause you've gotten them to be a pro at mark while only being a level 2-4, you can, and if you would rather play the game with your main skills actually being skills you use and leveling up a lot, you can.
I never end up using the unique powers of each race that are "spells," having more variation between races that is passive would be nice.
When you wind up as the leader of the dark brotherhood, have the game generate random murder quests. Dont generate people that exist only to be killed from these quests, assign people that exist in the game to begin with as the people to be killed. Same with the other guilds, random quests that actually involve more than collecting a check once youve gone through the main storyline in the guild.
No bounties for killing someone that nobody else witnesses.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
I completely agree with the quest reworkings.
I definitely want an arena of some sort. ( I dont care if it's a circle drawn in the sand surrounded by campfires.) Fight clubs rock!
I would like the consumtion of alcohol to have a visual effect in 1'st person. ( If i drink 15 bottles of cyridllic brandy i want to fall off a damn bar stool, not get up, and and trot off to my next location of choice.)
Better character creation. ( Iv'e built a Phillip J. Fry in every game i can, and I think TESV is far enough away to pull off a visually stunning representation of my favorite Futurama char.) Thats about it for now.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
In my darkest fantasies, I wish for dunmer to drive around in lowriders playing 'move s'wit get out the way' but shh about that...
I try not having too many wishes for a game, but in a soup tin:
Better & more clothing, with more separation of parts. Somewhere between Daggerfall and Morrowind.
More weapon types, especially for marksman. Polearms are pretty much confirmed- but i'm hoping it's more than just Spears & Halberds. Like long handled two-handed axes (for slashing and crushing, not poking) Pikes, Tridents, perhaps a long handled mace- or even a flail. Also, if they're going to have katanas, why not have naginatas? Or at least something resembling that.
I'd also like to se the return of a greater short & long blade variation.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Wishlist Thread
The howling wind whipped Arteques's face. His hood didn't help a bit. It was already past midnight, and Arteques was lost. The storm was so great that he couldn't see the stars, and so he was lost. Somewhere behind him wolves started howling. Arteques grinned, raised his hand to protect his face from the snowfall, and continued forward. His robes fluttered as he walked.
Arteques glanced forward, and saw a tiny light in the distance. He kept going, and the light grew larger. It was a house! Arteques's mouth was already so frozen that he couldn't smile, but one could see from his eyes that he was most relieved.
The door of the inn slammed open. The happy music inside didn't cease for a second. Arteques threw his hood back and looked around him. There was a jolly fire in the middle of the room, with a boar roasting over it. The walls were made of dark brown logs, and the roof was low. Nords chatted around the fire, telling tales of mighty warriors, raids and adventures. Arteques was weary, but he knew that there was no better source of warmth than a tankard of mead and friendly company by a fire. He rented a room, ordered mead, and sat down to one of the long chairs surrounding the fire.
After a while, he was offered a turn to tell a story. Arteques smiled, sipped his mead, and slowly started humming an old Nordic song.
"Dragonborn, dragonborn..."

That pretty much describes the entire atmosphere I wish Skyrim to have

I'd like music in taverns to be played by live bards. For example: A bard might not be good at his job, singing and playing false notes and I can complain or even hit him if I've had a bit too much mead.

Hm, I want there to be a fast-travel system like Morrowind, with boats and mammoths instead of guars and silt-striders. And if there is Oblivion styled fast travel, make it optional.

I want adjustable height. What if your character could have conditions to them? Your character has giantism or dwarfism or something. That would be kinda cool, right? I hated seeing that tall Nord in Oblivion, knowing that I could never make a character as tall as him.

i missed the silt striders we had in Morrowind too, Mammoths would be a fun way to travel lolQwackie wrote:

Use Skis to travel down mountains (ski lifts powered by large hairy beasts from high to low places), perhaps husky sleds (or wolf sleds or whatever) would also be available
Fast travel is always optional, the game asks you "fast travel?" and you say "yes" or "no", so i'm sure it'll still be there in Skyrim

haha i never noticed that before. Darn, now this is really gonna bug me....Cactus wrote:Well yes, I only mean that I don't think we should wish for everything we've seen in other games. My only real hope is that rain doesn't go through the [&@%!] roof when you're on a porch or underneath an overhang or something. Looking up at the roof and seeing water fall anyway is just grossly irritating. I can live without footprints or whatever, but don't let the rain magic through objects.
I'd like the Fable 2 thing where you can buy every property and rent them out to people. They'd have to make the rents fairly small otherwise the amount of money you would be getting could get out of hand.
Becoming a count or a lord of some land would be awesome too.

Well, I don't have many demands but I'd like a special item to not just be a steel sword with enchantments. I know this has been said like a million times but...different voice actors.

Crazy people! Like those in Shivering Isles. I really liked how unique every character in SI was and how they all had a different personality and different kind of madness. They just make it more interest for the player and I bet the designers have fun inventing them aswell :3

The whole bed system to be overhauled. NPC's need to take their shoes and armor off, and actually get into bed, not sleep on top of the covers.

But Damn! it's annoying.
Also
I would like more riddles and puzzles in dungeons just to make them more interesting.
