Making me leave Skyrim, accidentally contracting Corpus, then coming home to find my entire race extinct. That would probably do it.

If there was not a place like Dive Rock.

If the ghost of the Adoring Fan was not stalking your every move.

If a revolution of Argonians started to try and overthrow the Empire.

If there was a lack of Sheogorath.

If there wasn't some random singing "Look at my horse, my horse is amazin' "

If there wasn't a variety of good looking horses.

These things wouldn't RUIN the game for me, as such, but they would annoy me.

If the game ends and me having to pay to get DLC that lets me finish it (like fallout 3)

but since they have never done that in an ES game im confident they wont do that now

yeah, that was only a fallout thing since part 1.

and they would ruin the game if it hadn't atleast 200 hours of gameplay like oblivion or any other ES.
or if they put m'aiq out of the game or someone like the adoring fan.

it would ruin the game if the horse didnt turn into a plane with a stroke of its mane.

To all y'all saying "no guns!!!!!!! That would ruin it!!!" I agree that it would kind of suck, and they're not going to do it anyway (probably), but there needs to be some technological advancement! It's been 200 years!

If the tutorial is as tedious as it was in Oblivion. There are ways to streamline that stuff. Bethesda should look into that.

And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

There is a bit of technological advancement, I think. Sorry for my possible ignorance of lore, but is Skyrim the first game to feature a riverside mill? (1:28 in the gameplay trailer).

If the main quest was an hour long (like Oblivion) or if the campaign was just "go get this, go get that in some abandoned dungeon while I sit here and read books in my secure temple" *cough*Martin*cough*. Or if the quests were anything like Oblivion which, once again, are just "go get that from some guy I hate." And the dialogue system. I hope they fix that.

Why yes Lindai. Indeed it is. Oh and also, the technological advancement would probably be siege weaponry (balista, trebuchet, etc.) or crossbows.

well considering that the technological level hasn't advanced since the start of the series and thousands of years before the series technically started, it would be bad to have it change now.

edit: by this i mean big advancements like, guns, cannons ect. Little things like waterwheels and balistas ect, are not a big deal because they are simple and may have always been there or are just improvisions of existing technology.

In a world where magic exists technological advancment is very unlikely. No one will bother with it. And even if someone does no one will care.

I mean fantasy magic. Fireballs, mage towers etc. Not peasant supersticions.

Oh no I meant the whole, "If someone messes with technology no one will care" part sounds like Da Vinci. If you think about it, he invented the helicopter, but no one cared until 400 years later...

Oh. Well he didn't show the plans to anyone did he? :? In any case, DaVinci was too intelligent for his time. Shame when that happens :| He could have done even greater things if he'd been born later

Fellow forum member Offtopic wrote several editions for this thread, but posted them in the wrong location. I'll post all of them here to save him/her the trouble. Please note that most of these are written as if he/she actually wanted them. This is for artistic purposes, as he was roleplaying what we refer to as a "Troll". Besides that though I pretty much want to see none of these things in the game.
Offtopic wrote:Better screams of pain. I want to hear how bad the enemy is feeling. like for example if I hit him with a dagger its like oww but with a sword its like OWWWW and if it with a warhammer they are liike .... because they r daed rofl

You should also be able to cut off peoples heads so that you can display them in your house.

You should also be able to take parts of people bodies and attach them to your armour.

When you hit people with a sword the blood should splash all over your screen so you barly cant see.

I want to be able to rip peopls hearts out and eat them on the spot,

people should not just die, they should thrash around on the ground for a while after you kill them to show they are acually dying.

being able to stick your finger into someones wound to make them scream

People should throw up blood when you poison them

After eating bad alchemy ingredients you should be throwing up and gagging.

They should also have pets like pigs that would follow you around until you decided to kill them for food.

I think that you should be able to soak your clothes in the enemies blood so that they turn red :D

When wolves kill you you should see then ripping out your intestines before you die and your blood spilling everywere

There should be a mode where bodies explode and bloody the entire screen.

Sadly the psychiatrists and orderlys that watch over him/her were only allowed to take away the knives, guns, explosives, flamethrower and surprisingly complete collection of skulls (seriously, Offtopic's skull collection rocks, check it out during visitors hours). His computer though was deemed to not be dangerous, and potentially a tool to help the healing process. They were wrong.

They turn it into a generic cover based shooter.

You laugh, but I've seen it happen to a solid RPG before.
