Or if they are in, a combat staff alongside a magic staff.
Or if a magic staff can be used both ways... eh... first choice.
Trailer has got me so excited- and I too can't wait to see the other races in greater detail- or rather... at all.

Yeah I loved the bows in oblivion but they did need big improvments, this is a dumb thing of me to say,but one thing Oblivion did with bow that I loved as that when you shot arrows, they werent like just a moving texture that if it touched someone it would hurt them. It was an object! You would shoot these objects at people, and depending on the material you shot at, it would either stick or bounce off!Lindai wrote:Thread made me smile.
First thing I'm going to try are bows. From the looks of the trailer, bows looked awkward to use at close range. Also, being attacked makes you drop the arrow, right? I think all of this this will be compensated by that large damage boost they were talking about. Bows weren't all that powerful in Oblivion, mainly because of the tiny 3x damage multiplier in Sneak Mode. Hopefully in Skyrim, these powerful bows will get a better damage multiplier when in Sneak Mode, and will be a more strategic and tactial weapon. And as a fellow Hircine lover,I really hope that hunting will play a larger role in Skyrim. The part of the trailer with the hunter ambushing the deer hopefully says it will.

I too also agree with him completely, too.mars wrote:I agree with Cactus completely.

How would you fire arrows then?lockycharms wrote:I wish to duel-weild bows.

/paraphraseI could dual wield bows. I would just look silly lying on my back holding onto the bows with my feet.

Ooo, that would be really cool - hands with magic effects. Not sure about each hand having a different spell effect but it would be cool if you could do frost damage with punches. Your hands could have that smoking glowing blue look to them.Arzgonzianz wrote:I think it would be cool if I could use Hand to Hand with spells assigned to each hand, so I could punch, and hit them with fire at the same time. Would that work? :/

Dwarves were actually elves in Tamriel and they've dissapeared a long time ago. Here: take a look at the wiki.Snuke wrote:Ooo, that would be really cool - hands with magic effects. Hey what about dwarves? Any chance they actually exist in Tamriel? They've got armor all over the place.... With all the dragon talk I can't help thinking about LOTR dwarves setting off for the Lonely Mountain.

thank you, it was the main goalKneelBeforeZod wrote:Wow, Leon is a handsome bass-toward.

I second that.Cactus wrote:Honestly? Everything. There's no one thing that really pops out, it's a mixture of all kinds of things. I'm most looking forward to just starting up the game and seeing what it's all about. If I HAD to pick, it's just how gorgeous the game looks. I want to see that on my 32" HD TV.
