Then it cant be the Knights of the Nine.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

That was what I thought about.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

Vampires? The one protected by mages would be Count of Skingrad. Maybe even the Count and Countess??
If not for the "located really close to each other", I would have thought it would be the Count and Springheel Jak.
...but then until you said about sep guild quests, I was thinking the Guardians that "wake up" in the Hall of Epocs (or whatever), when you're on the ultimate heist.

Could it be the Count of Skingrad and the Pale Lady?
Chaos: (Standing on a box) IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!
Crystal: Whats with all the yelling?
Quincey: It's 2012, Kirby obssesed, and a TES MMO is real.
Chaos: WE WILL ALL SEE SLENDY TO NIGHT!
Crystal: Oh... What's a Kirby?
Quicey: Dont know.

Ok, I got one:
In one area between two areas,
one sounds like my home,
one looks like my home.
I work with one who is not what I am,
but who makes it sound like I'm one of her.
What I am and what I sound like fight here,
and it's getting bad.
Who am I, what am I, what am I not, and where am I?
If this is too hard, I have some hints.

The person in question is in an area of Cyrodiil bordered by two other lands. The confusion comes from his...."unique" name. He sells something.
That's all the hints you get for now.

Is it Elsynia from Best Goods and Guaranties in Leyawiin.
Leyawiin is the area between two areas ie. Blackmarsh and Elsweyr
Her name sounds like Elsweyr and her people (Wood Elf) are fighting the people (Khajiit) of Elsweyr.
Removed due to size.

Nope. Another hint: the person's name doesn't sound like an area, but it makes them sound as thought they're from that area. If I give much more detailed hints than that, I'll give it away.
