Dwemer presence in Skyrim?

I thought the Dwemer creations wouldn't function outside of Morrowind due to the distance to Red Mountain?

I just really want to be able to own part of a Dwemer ruin or something...I know that parts of the cities are supposed to be built in/around the Dwemer ruins and I really want to live in one of the dungeons or something

If I remember correctly all the dwemer presence were on Vvardenfell, so we can't expect them to be on Skyrim, close to mainland.

Where have you been living? There are examples of Dwarven ruins on both mainland Morrowind and Hammerfall. It has also been confirmed there will be ruins in Skyrim, and we've even seen the centurion sphere animation. >.>

I also hope that there are ruins within Skyrim.

Dwemer near the Morrowind border, Ayleids at the South, and Nedic Ruins elsewhere.

I do doubt there being Falmer ruins: No cities have been found, but even so I can keep dreaming.

Doesn't that fat Dwemer guy know what happened to them? Or did he seriously injure his vocal chords?

I dont remember what he said about the dwemer, its been pretty long since ive played morrowind

He claimed to have been away, when he got back everybody was gone. He also contracted Corpus disease, making him live indefinitely, aswell as explain his presence.
