Re: Very Hard Difficulty Question
Always be aware of what you're fighting. If needed have their page open on UESP, so you know their stats and some pages have their vulnerabilities. It's also best to have some clothing/armour on that has a 'Resist Magic' effect.
Try to block most attacks, move around when fighting and only go for a power attack when their guard is down. Also, try and get as many hits as possible quickly.

Chameleon and Invisibility are priceless on Hard. Try to get your hands on scrolls or potions with those enchantments.
And remember: the 1/6 damage doesn't count for your own summons. Use that to your advantage.

There is an unbreakable lockpick you receive from Nocturnal's Shrine quest.sppoh wrote:hey, any way to make lock picking more effective on any difficluty?? i have open hard do but cant find very hard door any way to make lock picks more effective or something?

*Technically Offtopic but oh well*sppoh wrote:hey, any way to make lock picking more effective on any difficluty?? i have open hard do but cant find very hard door any way to make lock picks more effective or something?
I take it that by difficulty you mean lock difficulty and not game difficulty and by "Open Hard" you mean the spell?
Lock picks will become more "effective" if you raise your Security skill. The actual effect of raising Security is to make the lock tumblers move more slowly, giving you longer to secure them in place. The Nocturnal Shrine quest reward gives a large Security buff (This link contains quest spoilers) http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Nocturnal if you don't wish to raise it manually.
EDIT: Ninja'd, and yes I forgot to mention it's unbreakable
Is this meant to be witty, informative or deep? I doubt I can manage all three.

Please, don't steal someone else's topic! It is, indeed, considered to be a rather nasty action. Start your own topic instead. Goes for your question of raising manually too. EVERYONE: stick to topic.sppoh wrote:hey, any way to make lock picking more effective on any difficluty?? i have open hard do but cant find very hard door any way to make lock picks more effective or something?
