Boots of the Olympian

Post by cadahnic »

I have heard a rumor about theses precious boots that I have to pickpocket off of some stranger in a City Hall. Was wondering if anyone knew about these and how I need to get them. I am using a XBox 360 so no console cheats for me. Thanxs!!!

I think I got them pretty late in Fighters Guild (but I can be wrong).
I have them and I'm pretty sure I didn't pickpocket anybody and certainly I wasn't pickpocketing boots. I think one of VIPs of Blackwood Company has them and you get them in the last mission, but I'm really not sure.

What are the stats on the boots? It may jog my memory. I recently completed the fighter's guild and don't remember any boots of the olympian by name, but I would remember the stats.

Ditto. I picked up Boots of the Storm (Resist Shock 30%) and Boots of the Thrall (Feather 105 pts - several of the Blackwood guys were wearing these) but nothing Olympian.

Yeah I am getting the feeling that these boots are somewhat random and cannot be found in any one place in particular.

Found It

Post by cadahnic »

Make the long trip to Anvil once again, and head to the castle. Hopefully
Lady Umbernox will be waiting in the throne room. If you look to your left
you may notice the Stranger sitting down. Destinatus says if your Sneak
is any good, make a fresh save and check out what the Stranger has. You
may be able to take the Boots of the Olympian, which will have lots of nice
little stats on them. If you can't take the boots without getting caught,
but you really want them, grab the boots and anything else, then hightail it
to Armand or S'krivva to take care of bounties.

I found it it is part of a Thieves Guild Quest or something. anyway thanx for the help.

Definitely no part of Thieves Guild tells you to pockpocket the Stranger.

BTW, true, the boots have lots of nice small stats. Fortify some 5-6 attrs and skills by 3-5.

I tried to pickpocket the stranger and all he had on him was 72 gold. I want the boots, they sound nice.

They definitely exist - I have them, but I have no idea where I got them - and definitely it wasn't the Stranger. Leather boots, enchanted with Fortify Speed, Agility, Acrobatics and Athletics, all by 8 points.

Please do not necropost.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
