What kind of armor do you think might be brought back?

gotta think the dragonbone cuirass will be back. Maybe a complete set? (i realize the cuirass is a legendary, unique armor, but who says they can't have excavated the other lost, retconned pieces of the set)

No, I'm right there with you. They were some of the most unique armors out of any modern tes game. Some may say amber is a glass knock off, but for me its one of the coolest looking (and best performing) light armors out of morrowind and oblivion. And Madness, well i don't think any armor can beat its originality and that it was the best armor in the entire game.

Sadly, I highly doubt that they will have them returning since they are from a separate realm, and that shivering isles will most likely not be incorporated in any way in the game (bummer). Though it would be cool if for Sheogorath's or whoever will represent the isles daedric shrine quest had you get sent to the isles to do a quest or task. Just an idea

The good news is, even if the armor selection is limited I'm sure the wonderful moders *tips hat to moders* will be giving us Amber, Maddness, and all sorts of other wonderful delights soon enough. Frankly, that's the best part of the game for me.

I honestly miss every armor for morrowind, whenever you looked at the armor in Oblivion you were all like "oh this is cool" then when you looked at the armor on morrowind its like"damn this looks way better than oblivion's..." I want them to keep daedric, glass and dwemer forsure. I just hope the use something more along the lines of morrowinds coolness of armors, rather than oblivions not as coolness of armors....

The textures and whatnot are very low, obviously, but the concepts and designs are quite unique. I'd like to see them come back, but I sincerely doubt it. They don't really have a place.

However, what I would like to see is a similar variety, but with Skyrim-themed armor.

exactly! I hope they just make them, well more unique looking. In morrowind the glass was all spikey and the daedric armor actually looked terrifying (in a good way) I HATED the dwemer armor in Oblivion because it honestly didn't look like it was made by them at all

I did see somewhere that you'll be able to properly use the smithy in this game, so if the armour you want isn't around you may have the chance to make it yourself.

I want good armour to be rare again. In Oblivion you could walk into a marauder hideout and walk out again wearing a new set of the best armour you could find. Non-random loot needs to be more common.

For armour types, I want to see adminium, Daedric, Elven and madness. Adminium was BA, Daedric should be pretty common in Tamriel after Dagon's invasion (and the subsequent pillages upon his realm carried out by the armies of bandits), Elven was great for spellswords, and madness should be the "new Daedric", artifacts hidden throughout the world. Acquiring the whole set should take some skill.
