Attention people who play Oblivion on Xbox 360!
Attention people who play Oblivion on Xbox 360!
Have you ever had to send your 360 in for repair because of the "three red lights" issue? Mine is doing that and I have to send it in
How long did it take for you to get yours back? It's only been about two weeks since it broke down and I haven't even sent it in yet, but I am going through withdrawals!!!

since we're on the subject of errors, do any of those cooling fans they sell work well enough? I just bought my 360 this weekend, so i'm pretty worried about the redlights of death happening to me, so i've been taking breaks, but its hard when you get something brand new and gotta go at it like crazy.

I got the red ring twice. Both times the whole process took about 9 days each for me to get a new 360. I now have a cooling system and haven't been getting any problems for my 360 yet.
EDIT: Forgot to add in, the first time is because I accidentally dropped my 360 in a two inch fall on wood. The second time, my screen was turning blue whenever I joined a match in Call of Duty 3. Maybe I should've stopped playing and then came back to playing a day later and it would've cooled down.

Yes, does anyone know if it really does void the warrenty, because I would like to get one after my 360 is fixed.hardcorehage wrote:how does it void the warranty? Isn't it external and can be detached?Sigurd wrote:The Nyko one works well, but it makes quite a bit of noise. It does cool the console off alot though.Beware though, it voids the warranty!
