Price of Skyrim?

Post by KnightWulf66 »

Hey,
From the videos i've seen and the articles i've read, so far, it sounds to me as that TES V: Skyrim should play
just as well or even better than Oblivion, but what I'd like to know is, has anyone heard what the
base price will be for Skyrim, once it's released in November 2011?

Question has been answered, so I move that this thread be locked.

It will be the same as any new game. Anywhere between £40 -£50, anymore then that and you are getting ripped off. An easy way of checking? just find a few new games out and check the price, most new games(that are mainstream) cost around the same amount.

You do not move for a thread to be locked. Especially not if you have added nothing and are being off-topic. Don't respond to this either.

Well it's more expensive than other games, on game co uk PC version costs 34.99 Great Britain pounds, and that 5 more than Dragon Age 2. Have no idea how much it costs on PS3 or X, though

Well, at release, all mainstream games are and have been 60 US Dollars, so I imagine that that'd be it.
And when things start to happen,
don't worry. Don't stew.
Just go right along.
You'll start happening too.

It's $60 US. You must be looking at the articles or sites written by Americans.

Pre-ordering costs 40 Euro here in Greece. Cheaper than Steam.

If you want cheap games (UK don't know if this applies anywhere else) don't shop at dedicated game shops such as Game or Gamestation. Your best bet is to try Amazon, currently the PC version is £27.89, which is a good £6 cheaper than on Steam or Game (online). The console versions are also cheaper on Amazon. I've also found that you can get some pretty sweet deals at some supermarkets such as Tesco, but that's pretty unreliable.

I've done advanced searches and told it not to give me any results from America, Britain etc... and 95%of the sites I've looked at have a '.au' at the end. :/

I believe you're mistaken - Skyrim is most certainly 59.99 all over.

No.....I'm not. I went into EB Games yesterday to make sure, I asked the guy what the price was and he told me $108 for consoles and $88 for PC, same as what it says on the signs there.

the first one on the page is for 360 and is just the game, the other one add things like a map, guide and a full on stature

Just the game is 60$ across all platforms
