I want to play this game already and start putting so many hrs into it. Maybe i want it bad because i havent played any rpg since oblivion and i wont play oblivion anymore because of all problems i was having with it(vista, now upgraded to 7).
What about you guys and what are you doing to ease your anticipation for skyrim?
btw who knew from a log time ago that tes5 would be skyrim? I remember a thread a long time ago with someone saying they thought it was skyrim because the patent had been bought or something

^True story^
Too many games are rushed these days and end up being just a shell of what they could've been. Let them finish the game, polish it the rough edges, then polish the polished edges, and then polish all the rest!
Good thing I'm in college. I'll be able to put this on the back burner for about five months. Then summer will start where I'll obsess over it for three months. Then wait for another three and a half months (August to November) before I finally get the game.
Although I'll probably get it for Thanksgiving, though.

Yeah, it's very hard to wait for it Good thing is that in between we are gonna get Dead Space 2, Dragon Age II, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood (pc users) and few other games (like NBA 2k12 for basketball fans like me) to keep us busy and entertained and make all the wait easier
And I want Crysis 2, Portal 2, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Half Life 2: Episode 3, Uncharted 3, Dead Space 2, Infamous 2 and another Minecraft update, but do you see me shouting it out to everyone?

Those are some great titles to expect this year, but I hope that Valve is producing another full-length Half-Life game with all the time they've been spending on "Episode Three" since 2007. On a more related note, the longer a development company spends on a game, the better it will be (as previously stated), so I personally have no problem waiting for a game that I know will be of good quality. I just hope that Bethesda will release some exciting official preview media in the coming months to whet our appetites.
I'm interested to see if Skyrim will be available for purchase on Steam the day it is released. Morrowind and Oblivion are now available for purchase on Steam, but it took them a few years to get there. However, with Steam being the extensive utility that it is today, I would certainly hope that Skyrim would make its way to the Steam Store soon after its official retail release.
ahh I just started up a new charecter and playing Oblivion all over! it truly is a great game, and it helps pass the time while we wait:)
i tend to go for the assassin type, so now i made a prospector who will do good deeds... as long as the pay is equaly good offcause;)
