My parents are cool, my family is cool, and my girlfriend is cool. Everything is going AWESOME on my end.

But this peace will probably not last long.

Damn...

Sorry to hear that. Was it the expression she made everytime you spoke, or was it something else?

My vegan sister and brother-in-law came up from Arizona with beer (always a good thing  ) for Chritmas, but aside from the vegan thing, they're fairly normal. The less normal one (and that's being generous, trust me. I coul write a book about all the problems she's made for herself) came over with her boyfriend and three oldest daughters; the forth, Cassi (and the only one from her current relationship), was born prematurely on the 10th and didn't go home until the following Monday.

Things went very well, which is surprising since I had to break up an actual fist fight just two years ago...

So, tomorrow I'm suppose to ask out a girl that I'm very fond of, because she'll say yes (supposedly). I do have some mixed feelings about this, since I never heard this from her, but...what do I have to loose?

Wish me luck...

Good luck!

My mom misses me living there. A lot. Saw her 3 weeks in a row, and now she's invited us to dinner on Sunday. Which is really nice of her, but it's a 30-40 minute drive, we have to socialise with boyfriend's family as well, plus sometimes (like this weekend), we want some time to ourselves. I don't want to hurt her feelings and tell her that she's inviting us over too much, but I need her to understand that if she's going to invite us over every week, we're going to say no most of the time, because we can really only see them once a month. For this weekend I'm going to tell her that boyfriend has to work (he probably will), but I hate doing it, because I know that she's just being nice, and that she misses me. I just don't know how to handle this, because I've got a feeling that she probably wants to invite us over every weekend.

Sorry Scozzy. Relationships suck sometimes, don't they?

I'll just say while I'm here that something pretty awkward's going on between me and someone else in real life. It gets pretty personal, so I'll just say that's the main reason why I'm in a mood all the time lately.

Well...I just got back from a 9 hour trip to Virginia to see my grandmother, who's being moved between nursing homes. It's extremely depressing. All these elderly people who have such low quality of life, but have really nothing they can do about it. And it seems almost inevitable that we'll all be there one day.

I was given a chance to stay, but the end result would've been a break up. Most likely a bad one. But i bit the bullet and we both broke up yesterday. We still very much love each other to death, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. We will be very close friends and decided to get back together when she isn't as busy. It was a happy/sad ending to a great relationship. I'm happy how it ended but im sad that it ended. :)
Don't look at it as an ending to the relationship, look at it as an intermission.
Things are extremely rocky at work right now, and could easily tank in the next couple weeks as my hours are cut in half to accommodate my manager's step-son after working the warehouse solo for over 6 months...
Also, the non-veagan sister I mentioned a while back has apparently decided to stop talking to us, which is never a good sign with her.

Congratz, and by anniversarry do you mean married? or just been together. Either way, three years is a long time, kudos.

I've done a lot of stupid things in my life. Let's hope this isn't one of them...

(I submitted a picture ((that's basically a letter addressed to the girl I like)) on DeviantArt. The way I see it, she'll see how I feel ((She knows I like her. I know she likes me)), and she'll either kill me, or think it's sweet. I'm really voting on the second one)

*bubble burst*

So, my nephew has epilepsy. Really bad. He's currently 16 years of age and was diagnosed when he was around 9 or 10. He has seizures almost daily and aside from the obvious ramifications, they really mess with his mind. He's pretty normal most of the time, but once he has one he's out of it for ages, almost like he isn't quite sure of where he's at. It's messed him up in school and daily life, and he'll probably have to live with someone for the rest of his life because he can't take care of himself. Why am I bringing this up?

Well, he went to a specialist in north Georgia recently and stayed for several days. They wanted to hook him up to all sorts of machines and scan his brain whilst he had seizures. Eventually he had enough. The only thing they could say was that the seizures come from so many parts of his brain that brain surgery and even most medicines aren't really going to help. Before this he was a shy but really brilliant kid. Now he struggles with simple math several years below where he should be. He's also probably the nicest and most polite kid I've ever met. No one could deserve it less.
