Re: The Windy City (Fallout RP)
After having her guns handed back to her by a town guard, South sat down with her back against the outer wall. Even in the evening, the sun was very bright and heavy. She would need to find another hat for protection, or she was going to get sunburnt. Unless she got into the Skyline as quickly as possible, but then she faced the problem of having to survive without being adeuetely prepared. And now it seemed she'd found some other people that wanted her gun at their side. She hoped they could pull their own weight in a fight. More mouths to feed in urban ruins was always a bad thing.

"Luca Martinov." Luca replied, tossing a bottle of whiskey to Matthew. "I've just arrived here from Bellevue. You're with that cute girl and that silent ghoul, right?"
"Uhh...Shut up, Beavis!"

Re: The Windy City (Fallout RP)
It took a few moments for Luca to decide. He had two options here:
-Go with Matthew and his group on a treasure-hunting mission. This was dangerous. And he might lose everything he had worked for these past few years during the trip. But if they did succeed, the pros would heavily outweigh the cons.
-Stay in Chead. He had everything he needed here. Masks, guns, and a bag to fill with stolen goods. He was all set.
Most would choose the latter. But, being the curious fool he was, Luca picked the first. "Alright." he said, putting his whiskey away. "I'll join you." He slung the bag over his shoulder and stood from his chair. "After you."

"Okay, lets go then." Matthew walked outside to the town gates. She handed their weapons back. Matthew spotted Caulfield and South, and walked over to them.
"I brought a friend along, if you don't mind." Matthew looked up at the Sears Tower.

South looked up at the nimble looking charcter Matthew had brought along. "Good," she answered. "Another pair of hands will come in handy when we start heading out."
She looked around. "Alright, I think this is all of us. Across to the East is a road known as Dale Street, in the inner suburbs. It was part of what you kight call the "blind spot" during the bombings, meaning that the houses were largely unscathed. We can head there now, reach it in an hour or so, find a house with some working tech, and then sort out a plan from there. You all game?"

Matthew shifted nervously.
"Yeah." Matthew looked at Caulfield. "You still haven't told me your name."

"I'm up to it." Luca said to South. "Aside from Matthew, I haven't heard any of your names yet. I'm Luca - Luca Martinov."

Re: The Windy City (Fallout RP)
Caulfield nodded when he heard South's plan. He turned to both Matthew and Luca, pointing to the plate on his chest where he had soldered his name into it. Placing the sheet of weapons on the ground and opening it, he revealed the weapons he had scavenged from the slavers. He placed all the ammo for each gun next to them, and motioned for the rest of the group to take what they wanted.
On the sheet there were:
1 laser pistol; 20 EC's
2 double-barreled shotgun's; 35 shells
All of the weapons were in good condition, and Caulfield was a little surprised that the guards didn't take them when he came to Chead.

Matthew took a single Double Barreled Shotgun, and half of the 35 bullets. Matthew observed the gun wide eyed.

"No need, Caulfield." Luca said with a grin. He threw his bag on the ground and opened it up, pulling out an XL70E3 assault rifle and a Steyr Tactical machine pistol, each complete with 11 magazines. "I've got these."
Luca then realized that he had left his 3 masks exposed in his open bag. He quickly placed his weapons over the masks and closed the bag, hoping the others hadn't seen them.

Re: The Windy City (Fallout RP)
Les stood thirty feet away from the small group, not looking directly at any of its members, but watching them very carefully in the side of his vision. He had been taking mental notes on what they said, what they carried and what they looked like for the last half hour. He himself was planning on heading to the Sears Tower, and this group provided the perfect vessel. Not directly, but in a way that, hopefully, would remain known to only him. He would follow them as they travelled, essentially letting them scout ahead of him and clear out any prominent dangers, or at least give him a idea of what to avoid. Les would essentially travel in their footsteps; they couldn't carry everything they came across, and he could pick up the leftovers. Much better plan then wandering around the wasteland with no direction. Les had traded some 5.56 ammo and both his stimpaks for a sturdy backpack and cigarettes, his primary reason for entering the settlement, and he now retrieved a smoke, stuck it in his mouth and lit it with an old disposable lighter.

Re: The Windy City (Fallout RP)
Jordan stayed silent while the woman tried to tell him to do his job. Of course they don't have backups, he fumed. These pieces of crap the mercs bring in don't even have operating systems when I get them! When he was sure she was gone, he looked at the wire she'd tossed to him. What was her name? Somebody had shouted 'South', but that didn't sound like a name to him. The wire was perfect. Or at least, it was perfect for a perfect robot.
Never seen one of those before.
He dragged the dead robot out of sight, down an alleyway. His living permit. Collapsed. Now he couldn't stay here. But he'd never survive outside.
He longed to get out. To see the world one robot at a time. There would be dozens out there, just waiting to be played with. But he couldn't. Unless...
Shotgun. Chems. Pistol. Tools. And that band of would-be adventurers would need a robotics expert, especially with all the military hardware in the area.
I hope, he prayed, as he headed towards the main gate with his pack.

"All right people, we created this multi-billion dollar facility under Cheyenne Mountain so that we can use this thing. Anyone know how?"
