Re: Minecraft (!)
On my server 2 guys said they used to have Pedobear skins. We made a rule in our Empire that any minors should be careful of Pedobear. And now Doros has popped up with Pedobear.
Children of Minecraft, please be careful.

So, apparently our server is down due to Beta issues. It's seeming to be more trouble than it's worth.

Re: Minecraft (!)
With the Beta came a new server client. Many of the mods (namely Hey0) that most good servers run have been outdated by this and there are lots of servers (mine as well) that are being put on hold until Hey0 gets a patch.Lunarsweets wrote:So, apparently our server is down due to Beta issues. (Hey0 is basically what gives you ranks, name colours, /ban commands and loads of other things.)

Anyway, I don't think the mods enjoyed it when we discussed that rule.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: yes, but a quick look at the Usual Suspects indicates it's still in it's infancy. It's just there for snorts and giggles... so far.The Raven wrote:Pedobear isn't stuck in caves. But he hopes you are!DorostheConqueror wrote:Hello there!

On a side note, does anyone know if colored wool is going to come back? My Grand Forum of Pedobear would look much better with numerous colors to choose from, and I'm probably not going to start on the Temple of Trogdor until I can get some easy to move green blocks. I'd also like to make a small Sacrificial Altar of Stephanie-from-Lazytown to complete the Forum, but no pink == no go!

I haven't found any gold or diamomds yet, and I'm kinda running out of trees in nearby area...
What do I do? Can I farm trees? Do trees 'respawn' and how long does it take?

They drop saplings which you can plant. After a while they grow into trees. Also the closer to water they are, the faster they grow. The Raven wrote:I haven't found any gold or diamomds yet, and I'm kinda running out of trees in nearby area...

Re: Minecraft (!)
I usually keep an island or something, were I plant all Saplings I find, with about 2 blocks in between them. Unlimited wood is awesome.
Also, one of the few new things I've noticed is that leaves decay now. Really convenient, you don't have to run around hitting leaves to get Saplings. You just have to cut down some trees, and then go grab 'em.
Right now I'm building a stone wall around my home, to keep out monsters.

Re: Minecraft (!)
Use Smoothstone. It may not be as tough but it looks much better then Cobblestone.

Re: Minecraft (!)
Where are you looking? Gold and diamond are quite rare, and almost impossible to find unless you're deep underground. Your best bet is to tunnel down to near bedrock, and then stop looking. Concentrate on digging around and collecting resources like coal, redstone, and iron; eventually you'll stumble on small pockets of gold and diamond. Also, be aware that gold and diamond can not be mined unless you have an iron pick or better! Mine a block with a stone or wood pick, and it's wasted. So your first order of business is to make sure you craft an iron pick! I personally save my iron picks for digging out redstone and above, and use stone picks for the daily grind of clearing regular stone, coal, and iron. The Raven wrote:I haven't found any gold or diamomds yet, and I'm kinda running out of trees in nearby area...

Re: Minecraft (!)
Yeah, That's what I do. I vertically mined all the way down to bedrock, and managed to find some gold and Redstone. And yes, of course, I mined it with an Iron PickDorostheConqueror wrote:stuff

There's probably more, but I never look up things on the wiki or anything, I want to figure everything out by myself. Only thing I've looked up were how to build fences.
