I do understand this is not on topic Andere but i need to share my thoughts. Some of the most respected people I've ever met were former marines. But I do respect you opinion and and im not talking for Josjie, for he may hate it, just giving my own two cents.

Guten morgen.

Unlike most, I am now a newbie who's here because of Skyrim (though like everyone else I am hopped up for it, natch), but because it occurred to me about three weeks ago that while I've done everything there is to do in Oblivion except finishing the MQ in Shivering Isles, I never did manage to finish the MQ in Morrowind OR either expansion. So I'm playing Morrowind again, for the umpty-ninth time. When I first picked it up, my computer was so awful I got framerates of 0.2 at best. I was so enchanted, I still played it for two weeks (in which I managed to get through Seyda Neen and the bandit cave, and then walk to Balmora) before getting a computer that could actually handle it.

(I have tried the Daggerfall demo many, many times; I have never made it past the first enemy. The TES killer app, for me, was the "always use best attack" checkbox, which actually made the games... playable!)

Yeah, I'm retro. heh. Morrowind is one of my ten favorite games of all time. If I were ever to rank them, it would probably be #1, with Oblivion down in the 5-6 range.

I guess this is the best place to say 'greetings my fellow Earthicans! I have returned'.

I have no idea who survives from the last time I 'returned', but hopefully they'll be a few familiar faces/usernames.

Btw, if any of the olde guard (or even the slightly-olde-guard) of members could PM me with a thrilling yet succinct "Previously on the UESP!" catch-up, I'd be grateful. Potential example: Doros moved to Estonia, became a professional clown, and came to harm when his floppy shoes got caught in the 'comedy' ejector seat.... and so on and so forth!

We were visited by some members who 'truly left' it, a while ago. Like Cactus (who is coming back, once he gets his connection working properly), Dogmantra, Wolf, and probably someone else who I forgot.

Back after my week to finish my college work, which turned into a week and a half after my grandad passing away the weekend gone, but at least he is happy now.

I have been nosing through the forums and a lot has changed since i decided to go for a bit, and as i said that was so recent!

Yeah man. Welcome back. I lost one of my close friends in a car wreck last Monday, on the 13th. Nobody is promised tomorrow.

I'll be back here and there for now. I don't know how busy next semester will be, but I guess I'm back.
