I'm going to kill someone.
I'm going to kill someone.
Wow. Just wow. I almost lost everything on my Hardrive, everything, as in every single save said "Corrupted File". I managed to recover it all, but then Shivering Isles went away. It showed it on the Hardrive, but not in the game. I downloaded the new patch, and it did the whole reset downloadable content thing so you have to do it over. Yeah Shivering Isles is back, but you know how it resets it all? It did. But its all done. Quests are completed, but they aren't. Ahjazda's Paranoia is gone, Risen Flesh is gone, everything. But its all completed. I am so damn [&@%!] right now.

Reminds me when of when my Aylied character save crashed just as I was about to save...he was level 17, into the Arcane University, done all the Umbacano quests and had all followers, Jemane's, Ulrich Leland, Martin and Jauffre, Mazoga etc...
"...well I'm sick and tired of it, tired and sick...and perhaps a little drunk."

Sorry, there's not really anything that I can say to help, but if you're on PC, could you poss setstage back to 0 and then reinstall SI?
There must be some stage that can be set for the time that SI is installed, but the message about the gateway hasn't come up yet? I know it would mean you'd have to do SI again, but it sounds like that would be pref to how things currently are?
Hopefully someone who knows what they're talking about (instead of me just grasping at straws!) might be able to give you better advice...

What are you talking about? You get all the same downloadable content on the PC as you do the 360, with the addition of mods and an in-game console. And if you have a good computer, you can get graphics that are better than both the 360 AND the PS3.Infamous wrote:Whats so good about it... hmmm lets see...
DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT!!!
Also, PCs don't get red rings o-death.
You can also get game controllers, joysticks, anything you want to use on your computer. You're not limited to a 360 or ps3 control pad.
As an added bonus, you don't need a camcorder to capture vids when you're using the 360.
PC is a way better investment for this game. Not all games, but this one for sure.

I was comparing it to the PS3 Version, which is all glitz and glamour. All cosmetic, when are they gonna give us them damn DLContent?! PS3 Version would top them all if we were given DLC.Butterknife wrote:What are you talking about?
