The Dark Brotherhood
Do you think the Dark Brotherhood would be in Skyrim, or would they only be based in Cyrodil? If you think they would be in Skyrim, what changes would you want to have to the Dark Brotherhood.
I for one hope that they would be in Skyrim. I loved the Dark Botherhood, honor thy Nighmother! One changed I would like to have is being able to be a speaker. I know you were able to get that rank in oblivion, but you couldn't do much as it. I think it would be fun to go around and recruit people and see who people wanted you to kill.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
The dark brother hood is in every province. So they should be in every TES game that comes out. But yeah, hopefully this time you get to do more stuff as the speaker and there is more than just one accessible sanctuary in the game.Wikia_Boy wrote:Do you think the Dark Brotherhood would be in Skyrim, or would they only be based in Cyrodil?

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
i think that Skyrim could have something like the brotherhood but more bad assed, like maybe a cult of assassin werewolves (the "bloodfangs" or something)
i get the feeling that outsider organisations, even underground ones like the DB, might not be tolerated by the Nords on their own turf..
i have no problem seeing DB mentioned, even if its just a book about how they were slaughtered by the bloodfangs lol or perhaps a prescence in a small corner next to the Imperial import/export offices on the docks
do nords need assassins or do they just deal with this sort of shady business in their own forthright way i wonder?
the morag tong might be there tho, since Dunmer/Nord relations are pretty bad and they could be spies

I would love it if both Dark Brotherhood And Morag tong were in there and maybe even camonna tong. It would be good to have a selection of assassin guilds to choose from

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
You know what would make for an interesting twist? The Dark Brotherhood manically backpedaling, struggling with the same antagonist as everyone else, and maybe even coming to an uneasy truce with the hero.
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
The Dark Brotherhood storyline was really neat, it would be shame if they were left out from Skyrim
Twice and twice shall he be marked, twice to live and twice to die.
Once the heron, to set his path. Twice the heron, to name him true.
Once the Dragon, for remembrance lost. Twice the Dragon, for the price he must pay.

I think it'd be neat if they were in Skyrim. Always liked them better than the Morag Tong.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
I'd like there to be a secret hidden village/town in a cavern or mountain where all the evil organisations hide out and intermingle. Like a lawless city where you can buy skooma and take on contracts to kill people. Would be cool...

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
The Dark Brotherhood is one of the best factions ever but I don't think they'll appear in Skyrim.
It would be great if they do make a comeback, don't get me wrong. It's just that the Morag Tong seems a bit more apropriate to the setting.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
Since the Morag tong probably have a better standing in Skyrim, maybe the age long feud between the the brotherhood and the Tong gets a setting.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
If the DB does make an appearance in Skyrim, I'm hoping the MT will, as well.
The MT just seem so much more noble about their killings. Plus, it would give
me something to think about while I'm running around, debating on which
factions to join for my character.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
They should definitely be in Skyrim. If for some reason they are not, we should have the Morag Tong. What would be cool would be both.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
Dark Brotherhood is probably the quest line I've played through (almost) the most times.
If they leave it out in Skyrim I'll cry myself to bed for a long time.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
Along with the Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood was one of my favourite factions in Oblivion. So I think that they should be included in Skyrim. Well, but if they are not featured there should at least be a similar faction. And I might as well post it here too, there should be a vampire faction too. In Oblivion it's no fun really to be a vampire... the bonuses are too few and too small.
Actually I would like more factions in general. And settlements, villages and stuff.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
The dark brotherhood would most definitely be in skyrim because they're meant to be in every province. As said before, the morag tong would have a better foothold in skyrim so probably will be playable, it would be good if the're were quests to assassinate a member or two in either faction. To add even more diversity to the game they should also put the camonna tong in there just so you have more assassin guilds to choose from.

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
I think they should have both the Dark Brotherhood and the Morag Tong in Skyrim. It'd be awesome if you could join the Dark Brotherhood and attempt to 'overthrow' the Morag Tong, and vice versa. I don't think that's been mentioned yet, so I just thought I'd throw that out there as an option....

Re: The Dark Brotherhood
Well Bethesda is all about allowing the player to make any kind of character they want, but sometimes it seems they don't allow the opportunity for certain characters. Like if I made some hulking evil axe-wielding berserker, what choices in guilds do I have? None that really suit the character, and so I think they should add multiple guilds that are similar, but a little different, like the Dark Brotherhood and Morag Tong.
