Re: More Orcs
If we end up with a civil war it isn't too much of a stretch for Orc mercenaries, or even a bit of an opportunistic raiding across the border.

Re: More Orcs
The orcs probably will be seen in some force since the Wrothgarian Mountains border Skyrim.
And due to the Empire crumbling, the kingdom of Orsinium might have decided to take a chunk out of Skyrim so it can expand. Since it was causing a fuss in Daggerfall.

Re: More Orcs
Orcs aren't around the empire mainly for two reasons:
- They are not like by a majority of the Empire. Many would like to steer clear of them.
- Orcs themselves have a lower population. They were elves corrupted by a Daedric Prince back in Orsinium. If there are orcs anywhere, they would mostly be located in and around Orsinium.

Re: More Orcs
Which borders Skyrim and shares the mountain range the borders share. Also I believe the orcish capital is next the triple border of Skyrim, Hammerfall and High Rock

Re: More Orcs
Perhaps so, even if they center around the location of Orsinium like Argonians in Oblivion, who clustered closer to Black Marsh.JockoBeans wrote:Which borders Skyrim and shares the mountain range the borders share. Re: More Orcs
So there will probably be a higher percentage of Orcs in Skyrim than in Cyrodiil, maybe not as much as Hammerfell though.

Re: More Orcs
My main guy in Oblivion is an Orc and I love them, the names are awesome and theyre just the best warrior race going, no matter what Redguard players may say
Their natural habitat is mountains so there should be a hell of a lot of orcs in Skyrim, I hope so

Re: More Orcs
There isn't any natural habitat, they aren't animals..
They're country is called Orsinnium, in High rock.

Re: More Orcs
Well, Orcs are often barbarians, and where do barbarians often reside? Where there's snow. And where are there snow? In Skyrim.
It wouldn't surprise me if you ran in to Orcs pretty often in Skyrim, I mean, like people have already written, they're home country is very close to Skyrim.
I don't see why you wouldn't meet Orcs there.

Re: More Orcs
I can just see a cunning guy like Gortwog offering the services of Orsinium's legions against a dire threat as a way of currying some heavy political favor. I know I would. Plus, what other race is as hard-drinking and cold-tolerant as the native Nords?
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.
