My cabin is in Skyrim

Post by ThorsHand11 »

The announcement of Skyrim joged my memory and I remembered that the township that my cabin is in is called Nordland. aka Skyrim :D Also i am excited to see what the architecture is going to look like in TES V I hope it is like Solstheim with the log cabins and such.
Got my SKYRIM fix for today. Life is good.

My new Skyrim Let's Play. The adventures of the Loveable Rogue, Mattrim.

Yeah, I love the simpler towns and the like, hopefully they will keep the cities open for that extra immersion. Also we should have the ability to check out the Falmer architecture due to the ruins and such(hopefully) buried beneath the ice.

Caves in the wild with tribal writings and carved mosaics on them like the one in the official video, that would be a nice feature.

Anyone else think there'll be tombs with fancy stuff in them, like a skyrim lords robes and axe would be cool as hell.

Yes, but hopefully not as disappointingly repetitive, like the Ayleid ruins.
Granted, I understand that an entire culture will have some similarities,
but the immersion is lost when every ruin has the same dents and dings
in the walls as the last one.

Axes are probably going to be big in this game, artifact-wise. And I
could certainly see this happening.

Hoping the Falmer have a bigger importance.
And what of Storms and weather? would a random blizzard reduce you're visibility?
I'm not arrogant. I'm insecure.

Ah, blizzards - just when I was starting to miss those ol' Vvardenfell ash storms.

I would hope weather would play a part in gameplay, even if it's something as simple as the Morrowind days, where characters covered and shielded their eyes during the ash storms. Bethesda tends to not let us down there.
