Re: Lore Trivia!
A certain mother lies beneath a monument, a quest of bloodbath leads you to it. Only more awaits you there. (Do we have to give the answer after someone tries?)

Re: Lore Trivia!
Did I make my riiddoe too hard? Or is lore a rarely posted in part of the forums?ZombiezuRFER wrote:In one world I wander without breath,
In another I dive without depth,
My skin is cold and always dry,
My eyes watch you unblinking till you die.
I live in the trees,
But dwell on the ground,
Among the branches
My spirit is found.
Only my brethren know how to live
In this place that is born from another world's death.
A civilization lives here,
Where the other can not draw a fresh breath.
Hope it isn't too obvious, I kinda came up with this on the spot.
I zurf teh zombies, I am not a zombie.

Re: Lore Trivia!
Sounds like a spirit of something. Or the Shivering Isles. Who knows. There are things that sound like Elven related too.

Re: Lore Trivia!
Hmmm.
I'm guessing we're looking for a shape-shifting entity who acts in a way that can be seen as good or bad. I just haven't really had time to look for answers yet
Also, don't worry if even 2 weeks go past here without someone having a go. It is pretty quiet, but eventually someone takes an interest.

Re: Lore Trivia!
Hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm trying to find the answer too, but I'm afraid my lore skills are so lacking that someone will either finish before me, or you'll tell the answer.
Only... In the ancient legend, it is stated
that one day an Undead shall be chosen
to leave the Undead Asylum, in pilgrimage
to the land of the ancient lords

Re: Lore Trivia!
The addition made me think Daedra, who have no gender, and can take any form. Thus I searched the List(s) of Daedra, and came up with: Malacathj31c3n wrote:better in than out

1) The Daedric prince whose sphere is the patronage of the spurned and ostracized, the keeper of the Sworn Oath, and the Bloody Curse.
- Which fits the first part of the Original: Better in than out - elsewise not so notable
- The Daggerfall Quest also supports this: Vengence on a traitorous suitor
2) From the Oblivion Quest: "Lord Drad took my ogres. Says he owns them. Lying maggot! They're MY ogres!"
- Which fits: Jealous? or perhaps Loving.
3) The Statues at the Shrines support the last part of the Original: And such powerful Arms.

Re: Lore Trivia!
I'm sorry, I was unclear with my addition. The second stanza/verse/paragraph (actually just part of the lyrics to the old show "Reading Rainbow" hosted by Le Var Burton) is meant to be an instruction to look in the in-game books. Good sleuthing though!
omnia mutantur, nihil interit
Re: Lore Trivia!
Dang, thought I had it there. No problems though, sometimes like with 20 questions, you waste a few, to eliminate some possiblities.
Have to run some errands, so won't be able to look around until this evening.

Should I read the Argonian Account, or am I way off? No matter, my answer is the Argonian race!j31c3n wrote:better in than out

Re: Lore Trivia!
Sorry, that's also wrong. I'll post another hint.
The subject of the riddle is a tournament champion of some note.

Tournament Champion? It's the Argonian in that Armorer book that Gin-Wulm told you to read? Hazadir?
