Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
But I read it as if the person is against necromancy?
*rummaging through memories of everyone I've stabbed*
And yes, sorry for not making a trivia, I need a course in good riddle making. There's plenty of subjects to ask about.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Here's your lesson. Are you taking notes? Good...
Step 1: Find a riddle topic. Coming up with something clever is best, but sometimes just mashing the random page button on the wiki will do.
Step 2: Consider all there is to know about this particular topic. Make a mental list.
Step 3: Think of unusual or offbeat ways to express those characteristics. Making it sound as if it were something else entirely a definite plus.
Step 4: Write the riddle. Bonus points for rhyming stanzas or lacing your riddle with some kind of non-cheesy easter egg.
Now, obviously there's additional things to consider, like how hard do you want this riddle to be, but that's the simplest approach.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
A repost for posterity:
could be argued that necromancy could take souls from Dagon...
Mankar Camoran seems to fit the second half... And I suppose itI believe very strongly about life and death,
As necromancy defiles my sovereign's breath.
I'm unique in life for the role that I've played,
But sent to my god when you wipe clean the blade.

Nobody's even close yet. Stop looking for someone nefarious. This person is against necromancy, for crying out loud!

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Wouldn't Traven be the sovereign in the case of the mages guild?

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Is it Mucianus Allias, the enthralled Mages Guild spy? (I forgot his first name, that's almost it)
I believe very strongly about life and death, Mages Guild member
As necromancy defiles my sovereign's breath. Traven was, technically, killed because of Necromancers
I'm unique in life for the role that I've played, The only Enthralled man you meet
But sent to my god when you wipe clean the blade You may feel like you want to end his misery when you see him

OK, running on some assumptions here...
The sovereign and the god could well be the same person. In which case Azura would be an obvious choice, and the afflicted brethren quest would describe someone who returns to their god when they are killed. As there are five of them, none are truly unique. The most unique would be Ghola gro-Muzgol, who drops the worn, faded note.
Meridia might be a possibility as well, but her quest doesn't give you anyone unique at all.

You're collectively getting warmer, but you're still partially barking up the wrong tree.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
It's good, but not correct. Mannimarco, contrary to what others might tell you, is not a god.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Things to consider:
Gods, in TES universe, are also known as Aedra, of which there are 9.
They are also known as the Nine Divines: Akatosh, Arkay, Dibella,
Julianos, Kynareth, Mara, Stendarr, Talos, and Zenithar.
Alternatively, "gods" could be loosely used mean any divine beings,
which would include the Daedra Lords: Azura, Boethiah, Clavicus Vile,
Hermaeus Mora, Hircine, Malacath, Mehrunes Dagon, Mephala, Meridia,
Molag Bal, Namira, Nocturnal, Peryite, Sanguine, Sheogorath/Jyggalag,
and Vaermina.
That means we have to narrow it down from the 25 that are there.
None of the Aedra are happy with death, and Azura and Meridia are
also against the dead.
I really don't know where to go from here; hopefully someone else will.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
The 9 Divines are not synonymous with Aedra, there are more than 9 Aedra too. Akatosh is an Aedra, but the 9 are a slightly mixed batch. I think?
I don't see the god reference, only sovereign, which could be any sort of leader. Emperor, king, god, count?
