Yeah, I'm totally being the arrogant bad guy in this one.
Um, I think you used 21 points, and you only get 15. VT, correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah xD I think you forgot the increasing amount of points it takes to up a stat, King A.

Depends, does raising a skill to 12 cost two points, or one?
EDIT: Revised character sheet, if raising a point to 12 still only costs one, and to 15 costs 3.

From 8 - 12 it's one point, from 12 - 14 two points, and 14+ it's 3 points. :3

So if I'm raising Dexterity from 11 to 12, does it cost one point to do so, or two? If I'm raising it from 13 to 14, does that cost two points, or three?
Basically, is that statement based on what the attribute's level is when you raise, it, or what level you raise it to?

Did I do mine right?

did i do it right this time?
Nope xD Here's the key: For point levels 12-14, it costs two points to upgrade the respective stat. If you raise it above 14, it costs three points.

You made your stats not taking into account the penalty for raising it really high :3

Sorry if this is confusing, guys, but this is a watered down version of what real d&d is like. In NwN you have like six stats and a lot of points to add.

Right! Gave the sheets a quick check-through, so if your character is somehow OP'd, then you deserve it for sneaking it through. :3

Ok, starting scenario:

It is nighttime, and all are gathered in the Yawning Dragon Inn (I'm creative with names, huh?). None of you know each other, but all have an appetite for adventure (and if you don't, get the hell outta my RP >.>).

The inn is located in the magnificent city of Waterdeep. This is in the Forgotten Realms setting - Faerun and all that jazz. Fairly similar to medieval, except with magic. No guns.

Post your intros hanging at the bar, etc. When everyone has posted I shall continue the story.

And OOC stuff in
Spoiler:
spoilers. Duh. :P
Oh, and to clarify the title: On NwN there's a feat called Devastating critical, where if a character rolls a 20 on their attack roll they score a particular type of critical hit called a dev crit, which causes the person hit by it to die, unless their save is high enough to beat the DC. On my online server everyone has saves high enough to beat the DC, and it only works when they roll a 1 on their save roll. Even if the 1 + their save is higher than the dc, they automatically fail their save. It's called an autofail 1. Thus the only point of Dev crit on this server is to hope people roll 1s, also called Fishing for 1's.

Stephan sat at his table at the inn, quietly reading a book he had borrowed from a mage in the city. He had come to Waterdeep to see him and consult him on some text he had found while adventuring. But he really didn't know what to do now. But he knew he wanted to do something exciting.
his patience with the drunk on the next table was wearing thin

Wilven entered the inn at that moment, immediatley seating himself at one of the tall wooden barstools directley adjacent to the bartender's position. He fished around briefly in his large, military-style pack for his cloth sack of gold pieces, undoing a single of its two pairs of leather ties and removing a small amount of currency. He placed the coins casually on the counter, as if discarding them. The bartender immediately responded by placing a large mug in front of him - it was obvious to other patrons he was a regular at the Yawning Dragon Inn. As he drank he turned around on the stool, eyeing the other patrons with little interest.

Kayla had been sitting near the back of the inn, drink in hand, for some time now. She was destitute, having just lost all her possessions to a cheatin landlord, and she didn't know where to go. But the inn kept her, for now. She felt like she was waiting for something, but couldn't work out what.

Jonah was relaxing in the corner of the bar, enjoying the mead he had been working on for the past hour or so. This was one of his favorite local haunts. He loved watching people go in and out, just observing their activities while making himself scarce. That was exactly what he was doing now, and he couldn't help but notice a few fresh faces.
