Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Nope.
Think about synonyms. They will really help, I promise.
Also, the people are, once again, named, and you will have to provide the names.

No. And again, I'm going to need names.

In an empty walk
We don't do much
We're mostly idle
Unremarkable even in
The way we are remarkable
I did try synonyms but let's do this again.
In a bare stride
We don't do alot
We're always inactive
Normal even in
the way we are unique

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
How about the Dalvilu family:
In an empty walk
They live in Bleaker's Way. Bleak can mean empty. A way is a walk, in the sense of a path rather than a verb.
We don't do much
We're mostly idle
Which, unless you're doing Mephala's quest, is pretty much true.
Unremarkable even in
The way we are remarkable
The fact that they live in peace, quite happily with their neighbours, which seems to be the primary reason that Mephala has it in for them.

Edge is back! Hello!
Right, Edge and Matt, you two are getting there. Both of you have right-ish ideas, and I'm glad that someone is finally looking at villages, and Matt, it's just a matter of getting the right synonyms. Apply some like Edge did, and one of you are bound to get it soon. Now, try again, you're getting close!

That is literally an empty walk
I didn't even know that one
Are those the skooma addicts that sometimes bumble around Leyawiin?

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Based on what was said above, the citizens of Blankenmarch sound very plausible. "Blank march" would be an empty walk, the three citizens there (Floyd Nathans, Hanz gro-Burag, and Philip Franc) mostly stand around all day, and they are unique in that they have randomly-selected outfits...which is pretty ho-hum.In an empty walk

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
YES! At long last! Kris is right about Blankenmarch, azuarc is right about the names. See, I told you the one line was the key.

Hey Leilah,
yup, back for now...
So, is it Kris or Azuarc up?

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Well I'm glad to see you back, you make up some pretty good riddles.
I guess azuarc, since the names of the folks were the main thing. But Kris gets a special mention for figuring out Blankenmarch.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
I'd defer to kris. Maybe I specified the name, but it was her (her, right?) observation that it was the town of Blankenmarch in question, which IMHO was the solution to the riddle shy of a technicality.
If we go a full day before kris posts, I'll come up with something.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
I knew the names (from the blankenmarch wiki page) but felt pathetic for looking up the answer in the wiki like that
I am already on the job of thinking, modelling swords is so distracting :3

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
You shouldn't. I do it all the time. You can't know every tiny detail in the game that a riddle-giver is going to need you to know. I recognize the name, but I couldn't even tell you where Blankenmarch is. If you're not an RP-type that spent time there, the place is completely forgettable.krisCrash wrote:I knew the names (from the blankenmarch wiki page) but felt pathetic for looking up the answer in the wiki like that![]()

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Oh, silly me. I thought you meant you were looking pretty while holding a sword or something. And extra silly me, I said I'd do the riddle if kris didn't. Guess I better write one...
I believe very strongly about life and death,
As necromancy defiles my sovereign's breath.
I'm unique in life for the role that I've played,
But sent to my god when you wipe clean the blade.
