Drathan stopped and waited for Gerdon to catch up.
"Well, after we got to The Citadel we were hoping to be granted asylum from the Human embassy.
But given Humanity's fragile tenure on the galactic stage currently, they decided that 100 souls and a few aliens
weren't worth getting in trouble with the convoluted amnesty regulations that could potentially cripple mankind's political machine."
The pair walked into a public transportation terminal and Drathan signaled a taxi with his omnitool.
"A new application I came up with last week, it overrides the transportation VI's payment
protocol so that it doesn't access your credit account. It gives you a free ride and its totally untraceable."
Drathan watched with bemusement as Septimus, Erold, and Eerak appeared behind them and waited in the queue for the taxi.

Reagan Toll slowed his breathing and braced himself. "Get ready, I can hear them on the other side of the door."
At the exact moment that the door shot open, Reagan threw up a biotic field facing the opposite direction,
propelling the debris away from Gane and Kayla. He then threw a shockwave down the hallway,
sending the guards into walls and holding cells adjacent to its path. "GO! GO! GO!"
Kayla helped Gane into the hall, and then they followed Reagan's path of destruction to the best of their ability.
"How are we supposed to find Irodax and the Geth? Have you even thought this through?"
Kayla set Gane down on a weapons crate to catch her breath.
"You just worry about carrying Ol' Mandibles around for now." He then inspected the weapons crate Gane was sitting on.
"There's our ticket. It's on a VI controlled lift. I'm going to set the crate to head to Irodax's ship, follow it out of here
and I'll meet you when I've got the krogan and the geth." Reagan punched a couple of commands into the large crate
and bade Kayla to sit down on it. "Hold on tight."
The crate then sped off on it's magnetic track at a breakneck speed that had to be against lawful safety regulations.
RN: For now, giving current events, it is just Eerak.
Septimus jogged off with Erold in his hands to the medic.
Eerak, however, followed Drathan to investigate these mysterious quarians. A turian couldn't possibly explain the situation very well; any outsider couldn't. He needed to speak with the two survivors.

Gane was near the point of collapse as he sped off on the makeshift vehicle, gripping the nearest hold tightly to avoid separating from the crate. To his dismay, the agonizing journey from the cell down the hall had proven that the brace on his leg was not one designed for walking, not even with Kayla helping him along. Perhaps their captors had anticipated the possibility of an escape? Gane discarded the notion and looked up as the crate slowed to a near stop, just in front of the long row of smaller-sized ships.
Drathan, Eerak and Gerdon settled into the taxi and sat patiently as the vehicle slowly rose into the small artificial atmosphere.
"This friend I'm supposed to meet is down on the outer edge of the ward, farthest from the Presidium.
He chose that location because there would be a lax amount of security there, so be on your guard ."
Drathan removed a small cargo panel on the left hand side of the taxi and retrieved a collapsible sniper carbine.
"We'll be there within the hour, due in no small part to the less than direct route we have to take to quell suspicion.
If you've got any further questions now is the time to ask them. I'm not very good at spilling my guts so try to be specific."

Kayla helped Gane to his feet and lead him to the loading ramp of Irodax's ship.
"Alright, I'm going to get the launch codes from the security room over there."
She ran off towards a medium sized security door and set to work on the locking mechanism.
From the corner of his eye Gane saw Drathan and Irodax through a transparent plasma window,
fighting their way down the corridor towards the hangar bay.
Sorry I took so long to post on this. Of course my internet had to go down just as the RP started going a little bit again.
Gane slid himself backwards on his seat, into the cargo hold of the modest ship. The pain was intense, but he was wary that once Reagan and Irodax came through the last set of doors, he could expect a lot of enemy fire towards the vessel. He shifted a leg and balanced on one arm to glance around the collection of plastic-shelled crates that blocked his view of Kayla, and watched nervously as she worked to open the door.
