Drethelis, you had a week to post your application. You can still post it, actually.

Argonanza and Spiney, I'm waiting for you two to catch flying types before I call a plot event.

Spoiler:
In Pokemon Yellow there are Pidgeotto's in route 7 so that's where I'll get one.
Max looked stood at the entrance of the gym. His Pokemon surrounding him as he did not like to keep them in their Poke-balls. It was late afternoon and they all were tired, save Metagross who seemed to be floating happily above Max's head. "Lets camp out and come back in the morning." He said to his group. Their look seemed thankful and they headed to Route 7, a small yet private path, for a place to camp.

After finding a small clearing, they begun setting up camp. Grovyle rushed around the nearby bush for firewood. Armaldo got rocks to surround the fire and Metagross helped Max put up the tent. As Metagross was holding up the apex of the up a Pidgeotto landed on top of his head and stood there looking around. This didn't bother Metagross much but Max was intrigued. He didn't have a flying type Pokemon and a Pidgeotto was a very capable Pokemon. He decided to catch it, and hopefully he could evolve it into a Pigeot.

"Metagross, get that Pidgeotto with Metal Claw!", he shouted. Metagross immediately responded by hardening it's claws, shaking Pidgeotto off and spin hitting it. The force of a heavy Metagross was easily enough to render the Pidgeotto unconscious. Max quickly whipped a Poke-ball off his belt and threw at the defeated Pidgeotto. One, two, three shakes later and the Poke-ball locked, capturing the Pidgeotto. Max picked up the ball and placed it on his belt. In the morning he would heal and get acquainted with it. But before that he finished assembling his tent, had dinner and slept deeply during the night.

Corey had decided to give his Pokémon some fresh air, so he went for a stroll with his pokécrew in route 5 just north of Goldenrod. Later they had a lunch break. After said lunch brake they all just relaxed; Drebin sat in a tree sun basking, Fonzie laid on his belly licking up ants from the ground, and Corleone was neatly curled up and sleeping on top of Corey's head. Corey sat on the grass reading a book, Famous last words.

Corey twitched as he heard a sudden noise from one of the trees and Corleone fell of his head. What was that? It sounded like someone callin 'who'. A pair of big red eyes watched him from the tree with caution and a few seconds later a Hoothoot emerged. "Oh boy, a Hoothoot!", Corey said to himself. He'd heard from people that Hoothoots had excellent psychic abilities. "I just got to have it!", he mumbled. The curious li'l critter hopped a little closer on one leg. Avoiding any sudden movements, Corey searched through his backpack and fished out a tuna sandwich. The Hoothoot seemed utterly intrigued by this deliciously smelling object and hopped even closer. It eventually made it all the way to Corey and had a nibble of tuna. Its eyes widened and it started to devour the whole sandwich.

When it had eaten one more sandwich it looked up on Corey with worship in its eyes. "I see you like sandwiches", Corey said with a smile. He carefully put his hand on the Hoothoot and stroke its head. It flew up and perched itself on his shoulder. "You wanna join my team?", Corey asked. "There's a lot more sandwiches where that came from." The Hoothoot eagerly tilted back and forth. "Alright guys", said Corey. "Meet your new team mate..." He took a closer look at Hoothoot and saw that it was female. "..Sigourney!"

As he made his way back to the hotel Corey felt satisfied with the day. His team was now a little bigger and if he trained Sigourney she would probably soon be a powerful Noctowl. It would be cool to fly from place to place instead of walking for a change.

When I got home, I saw that my mom was trying to listen to the radio, with a shocked expression on her face. The signal wasn't coming in very well, though, since most of the sound was covered with static. I quietly moved closer, trying to listen to what the radio was saying. I could barely make out "...fron City... help us n... der atta... Team Roc... aded Saffr..." The message kept looping like that, and since we could normally get signals from Lavender Town just fine, I told my mom my first conclusion.

"How nice. They're jamming the signal."
"What? Why would they jam the radio signal?"
"Did you hear what they were saying? Apparently, Saffron City is under attack."
"Why would they do that?"
"I don't know, Mom, but I'm going to find out what's really going on there."
"No, you're not. It's too dangerous."
"You had no problems with me trying to take the Hoenn league challenge, and I don't see how this is any different."
"Oh, fine, but be back for dinner!"
"As much as I like your mushroom casserole, you know I won't be able to be back in time for it, Mom, especially since you're about to cook it."

With that, I handed her the mushrooms, left my house, and took Xatu out of her safari ball. "Xatu, I need you to fly me to Celadon City. It's a really big city far to the east of here." Xatu nodded her head, flew up a few feet so I could grab her talons, and we flew off, intentionally landing near the attack rather than inside it.

When Buzz found out about the seige of Saffron, he felt anger at what they did, but he was also slightly pleased, finnaly..some activity. He went out of his home in Pewter, and took out his salamence. Salamence was expecting another training session, "Not today buddy, we have to go to saffron, and fast" Salamence roared.
Buzz mounted him, and they were off

"Hey, did you hear?", said a boy. "Hear what?", Corey replied. He was having a cup of morning coffee in the hotel cafeteria. "Team Rocket sieged some town back in Kanto!", said the boy. "Those dirty-rotten-pokémon-stealing-scumbags did what?", Corey said, almost yelling. "Woah, don't shoot the messenger, buddy. I heard from a guy who heard from a friend of his who'd heard from a dude that Saffron City is under attack." Corey said nothing as he sipped from his cup. If he had the chanse he would fly to Saffron and give those bandits a lesson. He was frustrated that Saffron City was too far away without a pokémon to fly on; Sigourney was still a Hoothoot.

His pokémon sensed his dark mood and Drebin acted even more affectionate than usual the whole day. Even Fonzie offered him some of his food. Corleone placed himself on Corey's head, as if he felt he needed to protect him. They had a relatively short training session and Corey went early to bed.
